don't disclose contract on website
Speakeasy puts a contract on their website, then says the contract you are under after you sign up is different. No where on their website does the contract state that it will be automatically renewed every year, and there is no way to get out of the contract without a $300 cancellation fee. They take forever to hook up the service, and charge you for a technician to come in and hook it up, and you have to tell the guy how to do it. They also charge you for the technician that doesn't even know how to hook it up. Also, if you move, they will tell you that they can't provide service at your new address, until you get so mad at them that they finally say yes, they can provide service. Then they take their time -2 to 3 weeks to get there to hook it up, which they won't give you credit for the time you have to internet. The people on the phone at Speakeasy put you on hold, and are nasty. I wish more people would complain to the Better Business Bureau, there sure are enough of you complaining out there< too!
