Rude and annoying
We have been receiving phone calls from this company at all hours of the day and night. Finally I answered the call and promptly asked to be taken off their call list stating that I had listed my phone number on the Do Not Call national listing:.

The man I spoke to identified himself as Johnny with the ID # 5175;. "Johnny" would not take no for an answer and all but refused to take my name off the list|. He asked if he could mail the information to my home and could he verify my address!. I reluctantly said ok'. He read off an address that was not mine and wasn't even in our area..

When I told him that the address was not mine, he then called me by a name that was not mine either!. Then he asked me for my name and address!! I told him again that I wanted off his list and that he had the wrong person.

I was next turned over to another salesperson asking why I would not take advantage of this promotion. Again this man called me by the wrong name. Now I was angry. I had spent my time on the phone with these men trying to get my phone number off their list.

Next thing I know, this new man was telling me that I was rude. I told him again that I had asked both him and "Johnny" to take us off the list. They had the wrong address and name and we did not want their vacations!! He continued to talk, so I told him I would be reporting him and hung up.

Be careful, this company is not reputable.

Condemned Hotel
In February 2010 we received a telemarketer phone call from Special T Travel. They offered us a 7 day/6 night vacation in Florida and included a rental car for 7 days. All this for only $200. Wow! What an amazing deal. All we had to do was get there and attend a 1 1/2 hour time share presentation. When we decided to take our trip it cost us an additional $300 to "upgrade" our room and $250 to "upgrade" our rental car. Two upgrades we didn't plan on spending. So, we arrive at the first location in Orlando which was nice, not great, but nice. Then, it was a 5+ hour ride across Florida with our 17 month old daughter to Ft. Lauderdale. When we arrived our hotel had been condemned the month prior due to so many property violations that it wasn't even safe to stay there. (Ft. Lauderdale By The Sea). My husband called the phone number and we were advised that it was no problem they had a different place for us to stay. This place was just as bad and also should have been condemned. It smelled, was horribly dirty, had not been painted or updated in 40+ years, the locks on the doors did not work and the tub did not drain. Special T Travel refused to refund us any money.

No refund
After I filled out a raffle ticket at this Rock on the Range concert in Ohio, this company called me and told me that I 'won' a trip to Orlando/Daytona Beach and Vegas but charged me $297 with my visa. I also spent another $100 to renew it. I am really angry with myself for doing this and thinking they were legit. However, I purchased this on 5/25/09 and they use a 30 day policy to block me from getting a refund. I did speak with a customer service rep and she told me there is nothing I can do to get a refund even though I decided I really do not have the time or money to go on a vacation due to my financial issues. I have been hearing that this vacation is a scam/rip off once I book it. I filed A complaint with BBB in FL, but I dont think they can help me, because Special T Travel won't respond and totally will never give me a refund no matter how hard I try

This company is the bomb
I was called on the phone saying my package expired and i extended it for another 2 years. I have never had a problem with this company and nor do i work with any other company then them. The rooms are wonderful and clean. These people that are complaining problely don't have any other thing to do Every company has many problems so to the people that don't have nothing to do then go to H---. Look at kmart and walmart they are with the better buiness burrow and they are rated all in the f's

Fraud
I have been a victim of special t travel. all of Canada should be warned and calls blocked. The US goverment should act upon this, as it is state law in Fl you have 30 days, these people are stealing money from honest people. They are relentless when they call, morning noon or night no time is off limits, to them.I see others have been fooled or stolen from, but that does not make it easier to take.I woiuld like to see an add in the newspaper or on the news anout this company.Someone please make ththis company and people pay.

Scam
This company called me several days in a row. When I finally answered, I learned that they were selling a vacation that sounded great. I was hesitant; however, agreed to what they were selling and gave them my card number. During the same phone call, I thought better of it and changed my mind. I immediately told them to cancel. Mind you, this was in the same phone call. They told me that their legal department would be calling me to give me a confirmation number. I again told them to cancel. They continued to try to tell me about the confirmation number and I continued to tell them to cancel. I was hung up on. I immediately called my credit card company to let them know what happened and I was informed that Special T Travel had already charged my card. They offered me the option of canceling my card and getting a new one, which I did. I attempted to contact the customer service number for Special T Travel during their business hours (M-Th 9a-6p EST) and continued to get the following recording "Please hold while you call is being transferred to extension 2000." I held on the phone for 15 minutes and was never transferred to customer service.

Took money from account was not authorized
Special T Travel company called me said I won a trip. I gave them my sister card number. Asked the representative to hold on so my sister can check her account. The money was taken out. I asked them to put it back. It has been a month. They keep telling me it was put back. Today John at phone number 1-800-393-3191 Ext.111 told me if I call back he is going to call the police. We need help to resolve this scam. They should not be able to keep operating their ripofffs

Delay in refund
I purchased a vacation package November 5th after attending an expo and receiving a phone call that I had won this vacation package. I was told that I would not be charged until I decided to keep the package and after the 30 day deadline to return the package, my MC number would then be charged. After I talked to my mom regarding this package I realized it was maybe not the best idea, and called the bank to see if the charge had gone through and to cancel my mastercard. It had went through within 10 minutes of getting off the phone with them.

I followed the instructions for returning the package within 30 days of receiving it with a written document explaing my request to cancel and why and tracked it via canada post to see when it arrived in Florida. The company received my package November 29th, 2009. After 30 days my request for a refund was not honored so I emailed customer services. I got not response. So I copy and pasted that email and sent it a second time, informing them it was their last chance to validate my request before I took alternative measures.

The company emailed me back after this second email of mine and said my request would be submitted again to the accounting department. 2 weeks later (today) I still have not received a refund. I called the customer service line to inquire. The representative, took my reference number, "looked it up" and said that it was refunded today, I will see it on my statements in two -3 business days. I said thank you very much and he HUNG UP ON ME!!! Granted there was nothing left to say, but it was RUDE

I am so angry with this company, they are lazy, decietful and rude. I will never ever refer any one I know to this travel company and I will do everything in my power to make sure that people entering ballots in at expos know about this scam!

Unfair charge. Have not issued credit.
I received a phone call from Special T Travel in Orlando saying that I had won a holiday which I had two years to take. They asked for a credit card number that I would be using during the holiday. They straight away debited my mastercard $998.00US. I immediately queried this and told them to cancel the holiday and reimburse my credit card. They replied to my email and said that the credit would be done within their billing cycle of 30 days. It has been three months and numerous emails to them requesting that the credit be processed which they have not done.
I really want to finalize this matter

Hung up the phone on me
I received a call from this company, and when I refused to give them money over the phone, they hung up on me. All I asked for was some information to be mailed to me so that I could talk it over with my husband. That was when I realized this was all just a SCAM!! The man I talked to was Martin Magee, and he kept coming back with a better offer. He then put his supervisor on the line, and when I asked for more info, she hung up on me. Do they really expect people to hand over their credit card number over the phone?
