THIs MY NEW loan acconting and they sent me 2 diffrent statement. this situiation is beging to get me really mad. I more do so that i called and then they said that payment went down to a decent pay. i will shuw the4 evidence

This company has no standard operating procedures. (And if they actually do, the employees or independent contractors are not aware of them or have the freedom to totally disregard them.)

SLS is the 2nd lienholder on a short sale deal. The 1st is Bank of America. Would you believe I received an approval from Bank of America two months ahead of SLS?

I've had to deal with approximately 20 different customer service reps. With each one I almost have to start from the beginning. These reps are nice enough on the phone but are not empowered to accomplish any task except answering the telephone.

The management and/or supervisory level is illusive, and maybe there are no managers or supervisors. I'm beginning to think there's some guy in a garage with a computer who is running this company.

I have been battling with SLS for about 7 months. They just put my house into foreclosure after 1 payment bounced. They claim we were 4 months behind allready. However I have proof of all the payments I have made. SLS JUST CONVENIENTLY FORGOT TO RECORD 3 OF MY PAYMENTS. So according to them, it was time to foreclose. They told me that they would not except another payment unless it was the amount of $2600.00. So I got all my bank statements and proof that I needed, but now the amount that I owe is around 5, 000.00 according to them. I sent them all the proof to the dispute dept. They say it will take around 30 days, well I don't have 30 days left before they sell my house. I know they are wrong, and I don't know how to stop them. My house payments are suppossed to be 583.87, but all my payments vary from 640.00 to 813.00 mostly in the 700.00 range. I have a fixed rate loan. How is this possible? HOW THE SLS SCAM WORKS

This is a letter we sent to our attorney to explain how the SLS scam works. We are publishing it in the hope that others will better understand what’s happening to them and why its impossible to deal with this company as they have the mentality of looters.

Our rental house is about to go into foreclosure. We’ve been battling a company called S.L.S. LLC (Specialized Loan Servicing) for 10 months. At the beginning they pretended to be a legitimate company, with a special program designed to modify our mortgage interest from the 91/2% percent we were paying to a more reasonable rate, (in our case around 6%), which we agreed to). Then as the imaginary escrow was getting ready to close, SLS personnel posing as professional finance officers who were actually call center workers, with no expertise in finance, working off a prepared script, began to feign the need for additional documents, which they already had in their possession. It finally came out, that they had never even submitted the paper work to the lender. The whole process was part of a scam to string along the homeowners, as long as possible, so as to be able to mount up tremendous charges to the underlying mortgage holder, that SLS was supposed to be servicing the loan for. They did this by telling us the exact amount of the new payments and interest, and appraiser came out to look at the property, etc, etc, etc… Each week SLS would have their call center people call with another phony call and the need of “one more thing”. This is a very clever and subtle scam. The result is that the property holder’s credit is damaged by the lies of the phone center people and eventually they are left unable to refinance with a legitimate company, the property goes into foreclosure, the mortgage holder gets a property back at a loss of thousands of dollars, and in the end I suspect FHA, Freedie Mac and Fannie Mae get stuck for millions of dollars of tax payers money. And SLS continues to get richer one call at a time. At first, we thought it was just us, but we went on line and found that this was part of a system wide scam as we read what other people had to say it was the exact same story as ours. Even though we have letters and tapes documenting these events I’ve come to believe there’s nothing we can do to change the outcome and we are really getting tired of fighting these people.

After acquiring my 2nd mortgage form GMAC, SLS deliberately obfuscates contact methods with numbers to useless automated phone systems; intentionally transforms my e-mail address to all caps when trying to get a password established to set up automatic payments; require payments be made through Western Union at a cost of $10 per month; tries to use Intent to Foreclose notices to intimidate; fails to provide any meaningful method to contact them about setting up auto pay plan.
This band of thieves and liars comes off more and more like a giant scam.
