I listed my vehicle on Craigslist and soon was called by "Christian", who said he would guarantee me $2000 over the KBB for the sale of my vehicle for $279. He said they made their money by financing vehicles and shipping them.
The transaction was supposedly recorded, where he guarantee me a price for my vehicle, along with recording my Credit Card info. This was to assure me that I would be guaranteed the money, a policy he stated the government made the company do.
"Christian" called weekly until I signed up, and said we would continue to talk weekly about potential buyers, offers and if we would do additional ebay auctions. Once they had my money, I never could get a hold of him. I left messages repeatedly and neither him nor his assistant ever called back. I emailed the company and their suggestion was to lower the asking price $2000, so it was closer to the KBB value.
I explained my promise from "Christian" of a guaranteed price, and they said they only guarantee to market vehicles, they don't guarantee a sales price or time frame as to when it will sell.
I fought through my credit card company, but because I don't have "Christian's" guarantee in writing and they specifically say they don't guarantee a price for vehicles, they won.
I am fighting now, because I was completely scammed and I don't want others to fall victim to Specialty Networks scheme. The more I learn about the company, the more I want to shut them down. The Better Business Bureau of Nebraska (were the company is located) gives them an F rating because of multiple stories similar to mine. http://www.bbb.org/nebraska/business-reviews/auto-listing-service/specialty-network-in-omaha-ne-138000732#management
DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO THE SWEET TAKING FAKE PROMISES OF SPECIALTY NETWORK.
