I have sent letter to post office pin 333516, Singhania University via speed post on 30 July, 2008 via speed post number ED745866465IN, which contained fees draft for my son.

Till today, 12 September it is not delivered. The website of speed post gives no information and the telephone number of delivery assistant, 011-23365543, 23360480 is never attanded. The mobile number of the official on Speed Post site 09868021828 is never picked up.

I have given written complained in booking post office( Sarita Vihar) on 4Nov with my mobile numbers but these idiots have no courtsey to revert back or update.

I sent a parcel SpeedPost to Mexico on 27 November 2007. The parcel has not arrived and the post office won't file a complaint saying it will get there and its just late. The date now is 03.Jan 08 and the parcel has not arrived. I have had to refund the customer US$700 and have had to bare the costs of the goods $500+ so my loss is US $1200.00.

This is not all. 80% of parcels sent from Australia/US to India are stolen through International Post in India. If they do arrive they are opened and goods inside are stolen. I have lost over US$1000 in goods stolen by India Post Employees in the last year. They will even steal registered and insured mail.

The picture for India is this. India will lose millions of dollars in international trade unless they clean up their dishonest postal system. Overseas companies will not send to India. Multi-Billion dollar EBAY-INTERNATIONAL will not send parcels to Indian Citizens, and Ebay-India will be unable to get off the ground as its doors continue to remail closed to international trade, due to its corrupt postal system.

Wake up India.

I posted a letter article number 'ED254685335IN' on 12th sept. 2007 from Delhi to be delivered in Dhanbad. Since it was an important official letter to be reached on time, i choose India speed post service which is considered most 'reliable' but my letter was never delivered. when ever i check in tracking i get 'Delivery information is not available at present'. and in movement it shows that the article was bagged for Dhanbad. I also called concerned offices in Delhi and Dhanbad but no one takes the responsibility. Delhi office says that they had sent it out on the next day and Dhanbad office says they never received this bag...... i do not know how to trace it now! it is really sad that India can never improve on service........ I don't think i can trust Indian post again.

I am a resident of Bangalore, India. I tried to send one speed post from Electronics City Bangalore post office to Shaktinagar, Sonbhadra Pin 231222 post office. but the operator at electronics city post office told me that speed post service to Shaktinagar, Sonbhadra is not available. His system is not showing this. But the fact is its available. I have sent speed post to this location many times from different cities. It is not just one incident, i have encountered this problem many times when i tried to send speed post to different locations.
