First I tried to order product for my teenager on their website- The first time I entered my credit card details and hit enter/confirm the page just refreshed but without my credit card information in the fields and indicated maybe there was an issue with the billing address I provided. Knowing this could not be, I re-entered my information and credit card and again hit "enter". Once again the page refreshed minus my information and indicated there might be an issue with my billing address. I was confident at this point that I had not transposed numbers or letters. Perplexed, I logged into my bank account online to see what address the bank had for me and confirmed it was correct. However, I also noticed that I suddenly had two charges pending from Spell Cosmetics for the order amount! I immediately emailed them and asked them to correct this double-charge. When they did not respond by the following day I called and left a message. Hours later I called again and this time there was an automated message that their mailbox was full! I emailed again. Nothing. I then emailed and asserted they would credit me the double-charge or I would reverse it with my bank and post a negative review about my experience. Amazingly, shortly thereafter they reversed the charge.
However, I placed this order on November 31st and it is now December 15th. I have never received email confirmation with so much as an order number, let alone tracking information...and no product has been delivered. I emailed to inquire about the delivery and have not had a response to this either. I'll definitely post an update if they happen to come through, but I'm not very confident at this point given everything above. My bank says I have to wait until December 30th to file a claim because they never told me when the product should arrive and I have to give them a full 30 days.
This has been a horrible shopping experience and I would not recommend Spell Cosmetics to anyone.
