I attended a time share program in Western, MA for spirit incentives.
Did not buy one of their time share packages, but for attending individuals were told they could choose from among a couple "free" trips. We chose a "free" cruise.
There was nothing "free" about this trip. First, we paid $358.00 for port fees and government taxes. Then, the "free" cruise was for their lowest rated cabin on the ship, beneath the waterline and did not include airfare to get to the ship. When all was said and done we paid $2400.00 for a cruise for two. This was supposed to include airfare, hotel the night before and after the cruise, travel to and from the ship from the hotel, and an upgraded ocean view cabin.
When we received our cruise documents, after paying $2400.00, we were assigned an interior cabin with no window. Thinking this may have been a mistake, I contacted the cruise line and they said no my travel agency, Spirit Incentives, booked an interior room.
I called customer service, but they were a joke!
They were rude and no help whatsoever. All they had to offer was that I was booked for an interior cabin. I explained that I knew this from the cruise documents my concern was that I had not booked or paid for an interior room, but rather an exterior room. They refused to make any changes and said once the information was confirmed they could do nothing.
Avoid this company at all costs! They are the biggest rip-off! I was lied to, told I was paying for one thing and ultimately receiving another, and they made no effort whatsoever to correct their mistakes. I would never do business with this company again.
