In 2009 I paid in full a 10 visit membership to the Splendid Foot Reflexology that will give you 1 hour massages. I had used only 8 and today went in to take my sister for her birthday to use the remaining 2 visits that would have completed the 10 visits that the card has offered for $170.00. Today we had called at 10a and they lady said they were open although the phone rang to a different location and she said they were open and to go in and they had plenty of people to cover for 2 people (me and my sister) We arrived at 1030 and were seated and told to remove our shoes. Although nobody pays the $20 fee (without membership) I felt I would show them my membership and just let them know they could have the card back since it was full (mind you I could have waited and done this after and probably would have not went through the embarrassment I encountered. We took off our shoes and as we were laying back in the recliners the cashier handed me a cell phone and on the phone was a lady who spoke in a very heavy accent I did hear her say that the card is too old to honor. I came in this year and have used it more than once and now I am told it is too old. I feel this is a disservice to the public for offering this membership cards which may have been issued under old management but that is not my affair. My card says Splendid Foot and so does their sign above their front door. If you figure the price out they would have honored only a fee of $10 ea which = $20.00. I handed the cashier the phone and was told we could not use the card. My sisters birthday was not a pleasant affair today. My sister said she was going to pay them the tip when they were done and the people who work their also were denied a tip for their hard work. My sister tells me she tips the girls $20.00 every time she goes in for a massage and pays $20. She doesn't have a membership card. She was thrilled to be getting a massage today but that was denied to her because they said the card was invalid. All I want is for them to honor my membership that I paid in full to this company for $170.00 and if you look at the photo i sent there iS NO EXPIRATION DATE and I showed them the card and the lady on the phone said they were not accepting these cards no longer! I feel very bad that this company had to treat a long time customer who refers them for the great price and services I receive there. And for the manager who was not present in the building but answered the call from her home that I suppose call forwards from the business took our call and encouraged us to go in someone is working there to give us our massages. She said on the phoen we should have asked before we went there to see if the card was valid. We called and never realized we'd drive all the way to the business to be walked out like we were no longer allowed to sit there unless we showed cash. no one pays until they get the massage and when it's done then you pay. We left and I ruined my sisters birthday because she didn't want to have me pay after seeing the card showing 2 massages were left. I even asked ok Ican use this one at time if I Want the lady on the phone said no it's no good anymore. So what do I do. I don't know I feel they should honor this membership for the last 2 visits ..can you help me? the photo has 2 red stamps and 6 holes showing used and there are 2 visits left in 2nd row on bottom that were not honored or used by SPlendid Foot who I purchased this membership without realizing It would not be purchased with the correct number of visits I was told and it shows on card that I would receive. The plastic neck tie and plastic card holder was also issued with this membership that they were all too eager to offer whether or not the manager is now different should not be my business to keep track of. I'm really upset about this today!
