Horrible service
I ordered a Thurmon Munson career framed picture for a friend for Christmas. I live in MA and he lives in NC. We were talking about the picture after he opened it and I discovered that they sent the wrong one. Yes, it was a Thurmon Munson picture, just not the one I ordered. I called the company and was told there wasn't a supervisor working that day. I told them my issue and I was told someone would call me back the next day. Well, no phone call, so I called again the next day. I was told the supervisors were in a meeting and someone would call me back the same day. No phone call again so I called back. Was told AGAIN that no supervisor was available. At this point I was very agitated and explained to the agent again what my issue was. I was put on hold for a good 10 minutes (I'm assuming she was talking with a supervisor who just didn't want to deal with me) and when the agent came back, was told I could send the picture back and once they received it, they would send the correct picture. I told them this was not a possibility as the person I sent the gift to was a cross country truck driver and he had already left on another trip. I asked them if they could send the correct picture along with a return label and once he came back, he would return the wrong one. This was not something they would do. Since my friend liked the "wrong" picture, I decided to re-buy the one I wanted to send at a meager discount that wasn't offered, but suggested by me, since they are the ones that made the mistake. When my friend returned from his trip and opened the package, the picture was the correct one this time, but it was not framed. I called back customer service and asked to speak to a supervisor. Surprise, surprise, there was not one available. The agent that originally "helped" me no longer worked there (surprise). I told them my issue, told them I was irate and DEMANDED to speak to a supervisor. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, a supervisor came on. Again, told him my issue. I emailed him a picture of the photo that was received unframed and he agreed to send a framed one and a return label and my friend could return the unframed one at his convenience. Less than 5 minutes later, he called me back. I wasn't available to answer the phone so he left me a msg telling me that he emailed me a UPS return label and once they got the unframed picture, they would have it framed and return it. As this was TOTALLY different than what was told to me, I called him back. He said that the framed pictures were out of stock and that was why I was sent the unframed one. (would have been nice if they called or emailed me BEFORE they sent out an unframed one since I paid for the frame) He said once the picture was returned, they would have to send it to Florida where the pictures were framed and then sent to me. I told him that sending me the return label didn't help because I don't have the picture-it was sent to NC. My friend has a laptop so does not have a printer so he couldn't print it out. It was suggested that I print out the label, MAIL it to my friend so when he got back from another cross country trip, he could return the picture. I told him this was unacceptable because by the time all this was done it would be at least 2 months. I went on the website and the framed picture was still listed as "available". I emailed the supervisor and suggested that the website be changed to say out of stock so there wouldn't be more unsatisfied customers. I also told the supervisor that my friend didn't want to go through all the hassle of returning the picture and waiting for months for something that probably would never be received. No return email as of yet. I would NEVER suggest this company to anyone unless I didn't like the person..

These Guys Suck!
Ordered something for my 12 year old sons birthday. Spoke to Joel two times and told him to upgrade shipping to 2nd day air. He said no problem and guaranteed shipment would be delivered on time. Wife waited all day for shipment and it never showed up. Never received confirmation of order or tracking by email. Just did live chat and was told order was not shipped because it was not in stock. Their site still shows item is available. HORRIBLE SERVICE, MAKES PROMISES THEY CAN'T KEEP. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!

Bad service
I placed an order for my husbands birthday. I ordered him a jersey around 1-4 or 1-7 over the phone and told the rep I needed the jersey no later that 1-21. He said no problem I can have it ship ground and I will have it in plenty of time. Well here it is 1-24, I have no jersey and no tracking info. I call around 1-18 and I was told that I would not get it by 1-21 because I didn't elect for express shipping, I was told I didn't need it. I called back a few days later to get tracking and the automated system had me leave a message. I never got a call back. I called yet again on 1/24 and still no tracking info. This is the worst service EVER. No one at this company is helpful. All I have gotten so far is a bunch of I don't knows. Well I do know this I will NEVER order from this company again...

Bad service
The item I ordered (Martin Brodeur Signed goalie stick & signed puck)was sent to N.Y. when I live in Chicago. I was told that they would send another item out right away. 2 weeks later I received the original item that they sent to N.Y. The stick was damaged and the puck was missing. At this point it's almost a month in, so I asked for a refund. They said they would mail out a return label, which they never did! I filed a complaint with Paypal and the NEXT day I received the return label in an email from sportsmemorabilia.com . Paypal issued me a full refund. If I had done some research on this company first, I would have seen the ton of complaints all over the internet. Save your self the heart ache.

Complete Screw-ups
I ordered a Falcons jersey for a superbowl party and two days before the game I received a Cardnials jersey. I sent it back and was compensated but 1 month later the idiots charged my credit card without my knowledge and sent a Falcons jersey that I no longer needed or wanted. These guys are not only stupid but also sneaky. BUYER BEWARE!!

Would Never "Purchase" Again
I read a lot of reviews about this company before I made a purchase. Most of them were quite bad. Against my better judgement I figured, well most people only review after frustration. SO I went ahead and purchased a 2004 WS Baseball signed by Johnny Damon. Upon paying for it and paying for overnight shipping. Three days later I received an email stating that they didn't even have the item. I guess my frustration lies in the fact that if you do not have an item why is it even on the website? This is quite misleading. After all these reviews I have read, I am sure I might as well hold my breath to when my credit card is credited. I would not trust this company to attempt another purchase.

You Be the Judge
After submitting a review praising Sportsmemorabilia.com 's customer service, I would like to retract the statement and provide some warning signs for customers to look out for should they consider shopping with either Sportsmemorabilia.com or Hollywoodmemorabilia.com, which are run by the same individuals (you can verify this when attempting to use the "chat now" option to speak with a representative).
I originally placed a high rating review due to Christine in customer service refunding $200 on a purchase I had made where they provided the wrong information. As time went on with this company I continued to find more errors, rude customer service, and potentially fake autographs. Please read below:
The day before the Super Bowl I had ordered a 2008 team signed Packer helmet. As a huge Packer fan I was excited and found a great deal on the helmet ($874). The helmet was labeled as an Authentic Pro Line Helmet with Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, and the rest of the 2008 team. Although the team was not exactly the same as the one that had won the recent Super Bowl, it was a close match, and I purchased the item for sentimental value. When I received the item I found that there was no Brett Favre signature and it was on a replica helmet. During this time I was told that maybe I received the 2011 helmet, which was on a replica helmet. I was also told that I would be sent updated certificates of authenticity, which they never sent. After two weeks of going back and forth with customer service to figure out what I was sent, they confirmed that the description was inaccurate. At that point I was finally provided the option of receiving a $200 refund or the entire purchase price if I returned the product. I decided to keep it.
Still excited about this company I decided to start a small collection of autographs. The deals of the day had amazing prices, and coupled with some discount codes I found online. I thought I was getting great deals. The frustrations continue:
1) I purchased a Joe Montana autographed jersey that was authenticated by "Mounted Memories" and Sportsmemorabilia. No issues here; good work guys!
2) I purchased a Dan Marino jersey that was also authenticated by "Mounted Memories" and Sportsmemorabilia. The issue this time is that they never sent me the certificate.
When I asked for it, they mailed it out but also sent a new hologram for me to affix to the item. This concerns me because if they give these holograms out so easily, what is to stop someone from sticking it to a fake item and passing it off as real? Kind of sketchy I'd say...
3) I purchased a Michael Jordan autographed photo which was mislabeled on the website. They showed a basketball photo but had it labeled as a baseball photo. Knowing that I found a mistake on the site, I capitalized on this and made the purchase. I mean, $179 for a signed Jordan is amazing. However, once again I am concerned about how the description was completely off.
***Now here's the kicker... Being a huge Beatles fan my entire life I have wanted to purchase a set of autographs to add to my collection. Those of you familiar with these autographs know that about 95% are fake. The most trustworthy ones are authenticated by Frank Caiazzo, Perry Cox, Tracks UK, and Memorabilia UK. PSA/DNA tries to certify a lot, but are known for their inconsistencies as of late. Now this is not to say that an item not authenticated by one of these individuals or companies is guaranteed to be fraudulent, but I'd be suspicious, especially when making an investment of thousands of dollars.
While looking on Hollywoodmemorabilia.com I found a deal for $1, 997.32 on a supposedly authentic 4X6 Beatles postcard that was autographed by all four Beatles. Something like this generally goes for over $5, 000, so I questioned a rep and was told that it was definitely authentic. Thinking I found the deal of the century, I asked them to hold the item so I could buy it on Monday. I inquired on the item over the weekend and was told by the representative Brittania that she had no idea who authenticated the item but that their 12-year reputation somehow meant the item was real. I did some more investigating online and found the exact same 4X6 replicated postcard selling on EBay UK for a few dollars. How could I not be skeptical at this point? Later that night I questioned the manager, Joe. He at first admitted that the 4X6 card was a mistake, and that it would be removed within 24 hours. The next morning I went on the site and it was still listed. I questioned him on this and he retracted his statement. On Monday I spoke with another representative, Jerome, who said that the item was authenticated by Sportsmemorabilia.com. Now, with John Lennon passing away well prior to their 12-year existence, I questioned how they authenticated the item. Frustrated, the rep disappeared for a bit and then replied that it was authenticated by Autograph Central, who also did not exist at the time. When I checked their website there was no proof of them going about authenticating Beatles autographs as required by suggested professionals.
At this point I became weary of the company and started investigating further. Here I found a John Lennon autograph, which was supposedly authenticated by the same company and a Paul McCartney/Ringo Starr signed Hofner bass that had a photo of only Paul McCartney's signature. At this point I asked to speak with the manager, Joe, again and was met with frustration, retracted statements, and extremely rude customer service. He then stated that the signatures were real, that I had no idea what I was talking about, and that I am impossible to please. Keep in mind that a month ago I dealt with their issue for over 2 weeks before it was corrected. I had even written a positive review. How can he say that I am impossible to please? Now I have a man retracting the comment and being extremely rude to me. At this point I told him I'd write a review and never make another purchase there again. To this he signed off on me like a teenage couple fighting on Instant Messenger.
Now I cannot confirm for 100% that these autographs were fake, but with all of their inconsistencies coupled with Joe stating that the posting was a mistake, I have my suspicions. I had this argument with them 2 weeks ago and the item is still posted (today is 4/17/11). I have photos of the items saved, and e-mails of the conversations. Although their deals are good and I feel that I made a few decent purchases, I would watch my back. Seriously... Most of their items are only certified by their own website and if they flipped out to this degree while being questioned on their Beatles' autographs, I'd be skeptical. On a side note, however, there were a few Beatles' items for significantly higher prices on the website that did appear legit. Shouldn't they all be legit though?

Terrible company
Terrible, terrible, terrible company!!! I received half of my order, tried contacting them for the other half (they had already charged my CC) with no response (called, live chat, emails). Got so annoyed I disputed the charge. I got my credit back. That must have gotten their attention because my other half showed up about a week later (it was a month late!!). Very frustrating!! Now they've charged my CC again for the item and I don't even want it anymore!! Naturally - cannot contact them. Will NEVER EVER do business with this company again!! I wish I did my research before ordering from them. Lesson learned.
