I ordered the AcaiBerry Diet/Cleansing Pills for a 30 day free trial off the internet advertisement. I was aked to pay only $5.95 for shipping for my free trial. Took the pills for a couple of days and made me nauseated. I received a call from their customer service department a few days after I ordered asking me if I wanted to purchase additional products and receive coupons for additional services. I insisted I didn't and wanted nothing more placed on my credit card. After reviewing my credit card statement online today, I found $88.62 charged from AcaiPower to my account. I did not authorize this and called the toll free number. I got some gal named Alayne who had a very thick accent and had to make her spell the company name so I had proof. I insisted I did not authorize this charge and was told I was supposed to take the trial for 15 days and if I didn't call to cancel, I would immediately start receiving the product monthly for a total charge of $94.57. I stated that they were committing internet fraud as this was NOT disclosed when I ordered this as well as credit card fraud. I have contacted the Indiana Attorney General's Consumer Fraud division and filed a dispute with my credit card company. After a long and intense conversation, I was told my credit card would be credited the $88.62. We will see. She refused to let me speak with a supervisor, but I did repeat many times they were committing fraud and I would be reporting them. I will NEVER order anything I don't know the source of again.
