Insane how bad this company is. I bought a couch and leather ottoman from Boston Interiors(no problem with the furniture) but I bought the warranty for the ottoman b/c I figured that things happen to leather and people would have their feet on it all the time. Three months after buying it, I went to clean the ottoman with the stainsafe cleaner...which went fine. But, when I went to condition it there was a white residue left on the dark brown leather. Problem. They sent someone out to clean it and told me to never use that conditioner again b/c they won't come back out. I tried talking to different managers there and seems that each one was less helpful than the previous. Currently, I've got an ottoman that is now 1.5 years old and needs conditioning badly but they have no solution and say that if I use anything other than their product (which they told me not to use) that my warranty would be voided.
I have other furniture protection through guardman and 100% different service...helpful and willing to do their job.
This is the first step of many that I plan on taking to get this resolved. What exactly does this company sell if they wont tell me what to use or fix the problem...what did I pay for?
Stay away at all costs from them!
