Double Billing
I used my corp. Visa card to set up our Stamps.com account and after a few months I had my office manager switch the account to utilize his corp. Visa card.
Stamps.com is billing both our cards for out 1 account.
It has been 4 months of constant complaining and I have even gone as far as cancelling our account last month, yet they still charge my card.
A promise has been made by their customer service to cancel the service, refund the charges for months now and of course, they continue to de-fraud my company.
Simply put, you give Stamps.com your credit card # and expect a monthly charge until you cancel that card, which I had to do.
*** It is a great concept, I hope to locate a more trustworthy company soon.

Rip-off!
I signed up for a free trial of stamps.com through inboxdollars.com. I never downloaded the software or used any stamps, and I tried multiple times to cancel my account. Their site states that if you do not use the postage you are entitled to a refund:

http://www.stamps.com/support/general/account/refunds/postage-refunds/

However, they have turned me over to the RMCB collections agency. I sent RMCB a fax notifying them that I did not use any of the postage and I do not feel that the $79.95 is a legitimate charge.

Unauthorized charges-cant cancel
I originally went on the site in response to an ad for picture postage. I was interested in purchasing stamps with the pictures of my children on them. After going throught the site, i canceled to order because I could not get enough information about HOW to get the stamps. I soon after had another baby and my husband took over the credit card statements. We were charged every month for 6 months before he discovered it and asked me about it. I called to complain and they said "too bad". They told me it was like having cable, you get charged even if you dont watch it. I told him that I never signed up and he told me that I had recieved emails. Never one. The next day, I received my first email letting me know that the account was canceled. They are still charging me. Everytime I call, its the same answer. Too bad. What kind of company is this??

deducted 2 payments out of my account
When I received my bank statement, I realized I had been charged $17.99 for two months straight. I had ordered stamps, and I thought that was the charge that was deducted from my bank account. I remember bening on the wrong website, but I do not remember giving permission to deduct from my account for this service which I would never use, nor did I ever use it. I do all of my personal business online and pay my bills online, and use very little postage. I never received anything from them, not a letter, a welcoming gift, NOTHING!! I called them immediately, and they closed my account without any additional charges, but "sorry about your luck" on the $17.99/$17.99. Call my bank they said. Yeah right. I can't believe USPS associates with this vendor. I am going to report this to the BBB, and shame on USPS. I will not use their services again. I am disabled and on a limited income, and all the hell I wanted to do was order stamps, because I had no way of getting to the Post Office. I will use this, and everyone I come in contact with, will know of this RIPOFF. How about doing a little goodness and start paying the people that are being ripped off with this business? SHAME ON YOU...

Unauthorized billing
These guys are complete Fraud. It takes about a month to receive your postage refund for duplicate labels. Their customer services is senseless and at times rude. But what got me the most is their account closing procedure. I've shifted my business and no longer needed their services so I decided to close my account as they were charging me $17.99 per month (way over current market. Ex. such services are free on PayPal).

My remaining balance on the account was only a few dollars but these dollars were hard earned and completely belonged to me. I called their customer service to close my account and it took about a minute to complete the process (I'll give them some credit here as it's pretty fast). Then I get an email that I still owe them money. And guess for what, for one day of service when I haven't even used it for a few weeks by then. See below for a snapshot of my email.

I sent them an email asking to explain these charges and also to refund my remaining balance. All I ever received from them was a slap in a face aka We are sorry you feel cheated but you still must payƂ?. They have never addressed my question about returning my remaining balance, and probably never will.

As far as I can tell these guys are a complete fraud. They make money by ripping people off. If you were to ask me for my recommendation, do your homework before you sign up with these guys. Their service is ok while you pay but they will suck out every cent from you they can at the end.

It doesn't work
Our company signed up for stamps.com because it was supposed to be "so easy" to use. Yuck! I have yet to get an envelope printed properly with proper stamp. Not only that, they automatically subtract the postage from your account once you've tried to print. I have wasted so much time on this and wasted so many stamps and envelopes, I'm done.

Mail Fraud
This compamy defrauds you of a minimum of 31.00 the instant you click yes to their lengthy terms of service, for first & last months "service fees".
There is NO ADDED BENEFIT to using the Stamps.com software to access the USPS rather than directly using the USPS website to mail packages or print postage.

My mail fraud complaint is regarding an additional purchase I made from Stamps.com. I paid 5.95 shipping for a free stand alone postage scale. I received a different postage scale that can only be used with the Stamps.com site. When I contacted them about their mistake, I was instructed to pay for returning the wrong item before the correct one would be sent at another 5.95 shipping cost to me.

rip off
stamps.com will continue to charge your credit card even if you get a new number. I tried to cancel on line, and on the phone. The first phone cancellation they said they didn't do because they had to call me back and confirm. it's nearly impossible to cancel and refunds are never given for misprinted stamps.

Worst customer support!
I have sent Stamps.com a number of requests to cancel. I've been on hold with their customer service "cancel" phone extension for countless number of minutes waiting for a human to speak to. My inbox continues to fill up with messages from them, even after numerous replies to cancel. My time wasted with this vendor is disgusting.

Out of all the web services I've used, Stamps.com has the very worst customer support (if you want to cancel).
