We have a dog from Starr Goldens. Starr is the furtherest thing from a puppy mill. We went to the house not a problem so not sure why you would say this. Our dog is a big guy and doing great. All our kids love him and worship him. My son just loves dogs and takes great care of him the two of them are best of friends. He listens well and plays great with the kids and other dogs. We love our Starr Goldens dog!

Two years ago I purchased an English Golden Retriever from this AKC breeder in Ohio that goes by” Starr Golden”. The female dog now has hip dysplasia and arthritis (she is only two years old). I believe this breeder is a puppy mill or is breeding sick puppies. At the time I purchased her the breeder would not let me come to the house. The breeder made several excuses as to why we could not see the house and meet the other dogs. Our dog will have to be on medication for the rest of her life and has had surgery this week to repair weak ACL. I hope that an investigation will be done to prevent this from happening to other puppies and the pain it causes the owners.
