Back in January of 2007 I recieved a call from startup essentials telling with their program i could start up an internet store and sell through it and ebay with minimal investment. the guy would not take no for an answer and kept pushing till i finally thought maybe was a good deal. (should have been a hint to me) so i signed up for a 48 month loan contract. told me that it came with a laptop, i said i didnt need it i have one and he said it doesnt matter they just give it to me. he had me talk to some lady at Bond Corp. (if she had said it was a_1 leasing i would have asked what i was leasing) she went through the contract really fast told me not to worry about reading it that it was just a standard loan contract. after it was all said and done they sent me the book with all this information and this CHEAP laptop. i tried to use it thinking maybe i would keep it for just doing to website. it couldnt run anything so i thought just give it to my kids to play a game couldnt even run the game they wanted, so i sent it back. the loan was over on January thie year. they pulled two additional payments out of my account. i went to my bank to stop payment and tell them of the fraudulent activity. about a week later i recieved a letter from bond corp. a-1 leasing telling me that i needed to eather contact them to set up a return of the leased equipment aor the lease would be automatically extended. so i called and talked to them telling them they have pulled out too many payments and needed to refund them. she immediatelly went into how the contract states they have the right to extend this lease and it was my obligation to call them and tell them i didnt want this lease extended. additionally she told me if i wanted out of the lease i would have to return the laptop. i already did she told me then she went back to the well you need to call and cancel and it is in the contract and i am liable. this is a scam and a fraud. i am going to take this to an attorney as this sort of action must be breaking some sort of law.
