Refusing to collect child support for over 1 year
My stepdaughter has been divorced for over a year. She and her ex husband have three children together. Upon her divorce the father was issued a child support order. He has yet to make one payment on this order and flat out refuses to do so. He has been in jail twice since the divorce. This would have been the perfect time for the stae of Florida to file charges against him but they refused to do so. They said it is not their parctice to do so. I guess my complaint is this, the state of Florida does nothing to collect on deliquent child support. I would like to see something done about this. Even if it means putting the bum in jail. He never paid anyway so it wouldn't be missed if he was locked up, but he should not be able to get away with not being held responsible.

Food Stamps
Who ever said working for a living pays? I have been working at my job for 4 years, and this year we were told "NO PAY RAISES". So I thought I could get some help from the state. Well "IF" I bring home LESS than $1984.00, A month I can get FOOD STAMPS. Thats for a family of 3. Well lets see... Making 9.00 an hour. working for 35 hours a week. That makes 315.00 a week. And my son brings in 338.00 unemployment. WOW we make too much. But what about getting help. SORRY "GO TO A FOOD PANTRY" is what I have been told.
This state is a expencive place to live. Depending on where you live. So I figure if I quit my job. I might be able to feed my family but I will be homeless. YOU CAN'T WIN. I would love to know who made up the formula for getting any kind of help from this state. They must have been living off some one elses money, you don't make enought to live on.
I AM BEGINING TO HATE THIS STATE.
GREAT PLACE TO VISIT BUT NOT TO LIVE!

the low life lawyers and law makers are cashing in on the personla scurge divorce has become.this state favores females and takes away the rights of men and there children.as a result daddy had to leave this scumb bag wins state and the children get abused.this problem is in american music by don henly and others.scumbag lawyers and law makers and the creeps they work for need jailingdivorce is bad enough low divorce is eivle.greed made easy and leagle by scumbags has brought this state to its lowest and most of these creeps go to church.children form broken homes dont belive in god anymore because of what has happend to there lives.when scum like these win we all pay.
