I ordered two Boston Celtics tickets from Stellar Tickets over the phone with a debit card. They told me that I would get my Celtics tickets from Fed Ex two days after purchase. Wrong. I got the Fed Ex package a month later, four days before the game.
Stellar Tickets policy states that you have to sign for the Fed Ex. Nobody was home at the time of delivery, so I came home and the package was at my front door not signed for. When I opened the package there were no tickets inside not even a receipt.
I instantly called Stellar Tickets but no one answered Any of my calls. So I called Fed Ex. Fed Ex asked me how the envelope looked like, and I told them that the package was neat and not tampered with. Then the guy at Fed Ex asked the driver how the package looked like, and she told him the same exact thing I told him.
The people at Fed Ex were nice enough to leave a comment under my tracking number as proof. I emailed Stellar Tickets and they wrote back until they stopped all contact. In the email they told me that they were sorry and they will try to help me. They told me that they are a supplier of NFL season tickets so they are busy this time of year. Then they stopped writing me when I requested a refund.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but that didn't work.
I disputed the transaction with the bank. The bank gave me my money back. But then two months later I tried to use my debit card and it didn't work. I called my bank and they told me that Stellar Tickets had proof that I got and used the tickets so they put a freeze on my card. Very funny because the same day of the game I was at my Great Grandmother's funeral.
My card company told me that I have to call corporate to see what they can do. They also told me that I owe Stellar Tickets about $80.
I just want my money back, I want other innocent people to not get burned like I did, I want this company shut down, and the poeple that operate it (Joel Grimstad) to be locked up.
