not received product/Feel i am being taken for a ride
The most disappoint experience I have with an online purchase...

I still have not been able to receive my order for 22 days as of today April 13 and horrible customer service offered by Steve Blind.
I placed an order with Steve blinds on April 22 for (1) only "one" shutter that was approximately 24x35 (not exactly maybe smaller). I Believed I would receive my Shutters within 5-7days. After a week of the item not arriving, spoke on IM with a Steve Blinds representative on March 30 to check the status of my order she told me she had to contact the manufacturer. I communicated to the representative if I didn’t hear a response by 3pm I would like to cancel my order. Deep down I am expecting a ring because I didn’t want the hassle of ordering this item again. I rang them again that evening to validate a status and I was told it would be about another week.
I gave them 8 days and contact the company on Saturday April 8th to check the status of the order and I was told customer was closed was directed to their voicemail where I left a message and my mobile number. At this point I could not wait, so promptly April 9th at 8a.m. Central time I rang them and was told my order would not be shipped until the 19th because a shutter takes a bit longer to be made. At that point I told them I wanted to cancel my order. I was told he would let the manufacturer know and I would be contact. I had made the decision to purchase another blind from the local Lowes to and expedite the shipping because I have guest coming. I decided to ring Steve Blinds on May 13th to verify the cancelation of the order and was told they could not cancel it because the manufacturer claims the material was already cut. So I asked when was it cut and was it made. The supervisor Alexander responded it was already made. I said if it was already made then can I have it shipped out sooner and the response was no because they on ship it on flat bed freight palate which only ship may once a week. So I responded it takes 6 days to make a shipment and it said it is because of the size of the shutter keep it in mind this one shutter... I was so frustrated I ended speaking to another supervisor Kal who claimed they have no control of the shipment of the product. He told I should expect that shutters take at least 3wks or more to be made. If I have never order one before how would I know that? IT THIS WAS NOT COMMUNICTATE ON THEIR WEBSITE OR AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. IF I WAS AWARE THAT THIS ONE WOULD TAKE A MONTH TO BE MADE AND SENT I WOULD HAVE PURCHASED BLINDS.
KAL'S RESPONSE WAS “WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT THIS". STEVE HAS HIS NAME BEHIND A PRODUCT THAT HE HAS NO CONTROL OVER. I AM SO SO SO PISSED OFF AT THIS MOMENT. I HAVE GUEST COMING IN NO CLUE WHAT TO DO. The thing about the problem with the shipping is the shutters were about $150 by the time they add the shipping fee it was another $100. THERE WAS NO DISCOUNT IT IS JUST A RIP OFF.
I HAVE 10 WINDOWS I HAD PLANNED ON ADDING BLINDS TO JUST WANTED TO TEST THE ONLINE PURCHASE FOR THIS PRODUCT AND I FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF.
