Buyer beware of ordering from Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper on the internet. Their internet home page states that blinds ship within 24 - 72 hours. I placed my order on 6/27. I got an e-mail confirmation of my order that stated they would ship by 6/30. When I didn't have them by 7/6, I contacted the company to find out when the blinds shipped or would be shipped. The customer service specialist stated that the order was in process and had not shipped. I asked about the "ship within 24 - 72 hours" stated on their website. She replied that meant the order would be shipped to their warehouse within that time period and that they were waiting for a reply from the factory. Their website should more accurately reflect that orders are placed with the vendor's factory within 24 - 72 hours rather than imply that the order is shipped to the customer from Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper within that time frame. I'm glad I ordered only one blind from them to start rather than the total number that I needed. I know now that paying a little more at the big box store is more reliable and I know that Home Depot/Lowes stand behind their customers' purchases if something is wrong. After reading other complaints, it's apparent that Steve's doesn't do that either.
