I purchased a king charles cavalier puppy from Pet Kingdom Sept 2007. The dog was really sick with kennel cough and all kinds of parasites. I had it to three vets before they were able to diagnose the fact the the puppy had somehow survived Parvo and had no immune system left. I called the Stills Puppy Mill and they told me that all the litter mates had died but one, which they had on a nebulizer (it eventually died also). they even sent me photos of their puppy mill which is so disgusting you wonder why they would even sent the photos.
My puppy spent the first six months of his life in the vets betting IV injections to boost his immune system and rid him of hook worm, tape worm, round worm, Giardia and kennel cough. He survived but now, at the age of almost three I am flying him to a specialist in New York for CT scans, MRI etc and surgery on his brain for a congenital disorder called Syringomylia. This is definitely from inbreeding and the hookworm, which almost took his life as a puppy was from a rabbit which probably was transmitted to the puppies by stray cats which they allow to roam freely in the dogs pens and 'hang out with the puppies' as they told me. this is a terrible puppy mill and should be closed down. It's a disgrace that places like this even are allowed to exist and that pet stores purchase puppies from them and other puppy mill. Never buy from a pet store. They always buy from puppy mills and the only way to put people like Stills Kennel out of business is to stop purchasing puppies from them.
