Netbook Notebook
I was one of the "lucky 50" callers that won a netbook. what a piecce of Junk. I have no idea what the brand name is. I can only get one or two websites to work and they have told me that they sent me an email twice so i could return it and they would check it out. I never recieved them and I am still waiting for the information via land mail. I have just about givenup on getting it to work. I may just use it as a paper weight.

Fooled me, tooked my money
storesonline lied to me about their buisness i thought i was starting a buisness and was told that im not very educated and want'ed to make money like any one else butbto make a long story short was rip off on 10-15-2010 in greenbay wi i gave them 200.dollars in cash beside's the money to attend their work shop i got home and immediatly cancell'ed im hoping to get my money back im going to cancel my bank acc any one who can guied me in the right direction would realy be helpful thank's for reading

Rescind Platinum Upgrade Purchase
This isn't a full complaint - yet. It will be if they don't honor the 3-day cancellation clause that I invoked, and I will report on that ASAP.;
I should have investigated this site prior to attending their seminar; I probably wouldn't have purchased. Buut from now on...
They submitted my credic card charge on the very day I purchased their product. No wonder noone seemed to know when the charges would be submitted when I asked if they waited for the 3-day cancellation period before submitting the transactions.
When I COMPLETED THE REVERSE OF THE PURCHASE CONTRACT to effect cancellation and then faxxed it to the listed number, it kept being busy - at 3 AM Thursday morning.
I talked with two separate CSRs who promised to have the proper cancellation rep call me; this never happened. For such a llarge company, it is amazing that they don't have toll-free phone service, even for its clientts!
I sent two emails before one finally was accepted by the system - all were correctly addressed. I finally called a CSR on my own and insisted to be connected to the appropriate cancellation office. I was "solaced" by that rep that my purchase had indeed been cancelled and would be backcharged to my credit card acct. His reason for the immediate submission of the purchase was " hardly anyone cancels this excellefnt opportunity"'
I agree that the product looks great. What sold me wsas the inclusion of 50+ toolss to aid the owner in not only seeting up and running an indefinite number of websites, but the ability to own them forever, pssing them down to heris, so long as they were active.
When I voiced a concer that the cancellation was effected, the rep told me that "this is a multi-million dollar company - it wwould hardly be sensible to not folly ethical business practices in cheating an individual customer.
In short, before you sign a contract and/or plunk down your money:
1. SEARCH the Internet & any other appropriate sources to investigate the product and vendor. (Do your homework!)
2`. READ the contract before you fill it out, taking it home and giving it to your attorney, if practical.
3 Ensure you know the cancellation requirements and perform them exactly as written.

Ipod
I have a copy of a chat transcript from Katheryn Olsen giving me permission to send a money order for $9.95 for an Ipod gift for attending a seminar. I also sent a copy of the gift certificate and all the requested proof asked for. The money order was cashed on March 26, 2009 and I have not received my Ipod yet. It has been more than 10 business days.

Bait and switch
Don't fall for the StoresOnline gimmicks. They use their software to track your web surfing habits, then invite you. They have their high pressure, bait and switch tactics finely tuned. They no longer charge you to attend their functions, they give their lunches away and use carefully crafted sentences to hook you.
If you grab the "bait" at the "free lunch" (there are no free lunches) and fail to cancel your commitment within 3 days (they schedule the "explanation workshop" after the legal 3 day cancellation period) you'll be on the hook for 12 months of payments (unless you stop payment on your debit card).
The "Express" site is useless. StoresOnline is marketing the upgraded - Pro site, then more "stuff", then more "stuff"...

Beware of this company!
StoresOnline is a company located in Utah, US
First of all, I apologize for my english, I am hispanic and I try to do the best I can. My husband and I went to StoresOnline seminar in Oct 2005. we used to go very often to those seminars trying to make extra money or to find a home based business. StoresOnline has a very good marketing and sales staff because they make you believe that you will make a lot of money in a short period of time, they convince you that is a very easy business and that you will get big profits.
But we were so innocent, because the speaker of the seminar, was the same guy that some time before was the speaker for the company Teach me to trade, which is located in Utah too (if I am not wrong). In that seminar for Teach me to trade he made us believe that he was millionaire, and that he used to spend few hours a day to make a lot of money. He did the speech for StoresOnline, and my husband and I in fact talked to him, honestly I don't remember the name of this guy. We asked him about teach me to trade, and he acepted he worked for them too. He said that he worked at home and the internet was the tool to make money. After a while we were thinking that how is that a guy that is millionaire, needs to work for other company?, it was obvious that he was not rich, and that his work is to talk and sell dreams, since he convinced us that StoresOnline was a great business and that you would make a lot of money, we bought it. I still think how is that somebody can do that to people, how can somebody sell dreams? maybe is his work, but you have to have ethics.
Working with StoresOnline has not been a pleasant thing, it is very hard get used to work in their software, whenever you ask for help, SOL staff send you to read and read and read. The software is not very friendly, you have to spend a lot of time to figure it out how to do something. Also, they guarantee that you will be in the 1st positions in the search engines, but they never tell you all that is involved in it, if you really want to be at the top positions, you have to spend a lot of time and a lot of money. Besides they recommend partner services to market your web, but again you have to spend a lot of money with no results. I realized they charge you for everything, even simple things, and I am sure that SOL is affiliated with those services , and surely gets commissions every time we buy something from them.
Another issue to be aware for is that they include in the package $1000.00 charge for merchants accounts for your 6 websites. After doing research there are services that dont charge anything anymore to open a merchant account. Well, that was not all, my husband and I dont have good credit for some reasons that I am not going to detail. Well, we were not approved for the merchant account, and they wanted us to remove some items from our website, the ones with high price. I decided to contract another service. I requested SOL to refund the money for the merchant accounts but they denied, that was very unfair. They should warn you that if you don't have a good credit you won't be approved for those accounts.
The last thing I want to mention is that if you want to do an internet business, specially with SOL, you have to spend a lot of time doing it. Its time consuming, like any other job, but is hard to get good results. I have published only one website, and I think will be the only one with SOL. They charge you 150.00 to publish it, and what is wrong is that it does not include the hosting, you have to look for a hosting company. There are several other services that don't charge the ridiculous amount we paid to SOL without any profit at all. I think the testimonies they have come from people that have a brick and mortar store, or that have a niche that is not very common. I don't know what is the success % but I am sure it is very low.
We did not try to get our money back because we work and don't have much time to do that. But I hope my testimony warns other people about this company.
