MP3 Player never received
On Nov. 6, 2009 I attended a StoresOnline marketing session. I was given a Redemption Coupon for a MP3 Player since none were available at the meeting. I was given a redemption code which was entered in their system. As of 01/22/2010 I have not seen or received any MP3 player. I think this was a scam to get people to sign up for StoresOnline without giving out the MP3 as promised.

Scam
I received an invitation by mail to attend a 90-minute conference to "learn how people run successful Internet businesses..." To entice recipients to attend the free "conference, " the company offers a free meal and a free MP3 player.
First of, this is not a conference, just a fishing expedition on attendees to plunk down $48 and sign up for an all-day workshop later when you are expected to hand over more money.
The speaker did not allow for questions and spoke for almost 2 hours (not 90 minutes) about why attendees should sign up with the company and open up their bank accounts. Lunch, which consisted of a little sandwich and macaroni salad but no drinks (only water in a decanter, was not served until he stopped talking and started the money collection.
Worst of all, the MP3 player is a joke. It comes in a white box without a single letter of description. The player is useless unless connected to your computer because it does not come with a battery.
So, all in all, the free lunch and junk MP3 player are not worth the time to attend this "conference."
