Yesterday I applied to cash out USD5.60 from stormysurf.
I had signed up on 20 Oct 05 and did not put in any upgrades.

I had intended to use this sum, together with a few more dollars I have left in storm pay to make an upgrade (but now that my account and enthusiam deleted, I probably won't).

Although in the terms that they said they will delete any accounts that do not upgrade within 10 days, my account was still available until yesterday, 14 Nov.

Today when I tried to login, I found that my account was no longer available.

My take on stormysurf is this:

They will let the free accounts holders surf and earn some money, but when you decide to cash it out, they will use the 10 day clause and cancel your account, thus freeing themselves of any payment obligations.

In which then they can claim to have XXX number of accounts (because they do not delete those free ones on the 11th day) and thus not misrepresent themselves.

By doing this, they lay a bait (but which autosurf programme doesn't?) but just when you are about to bite, they cut you out and say too bad! Your account should have been deleted anyway.

Perfectly Legal. Technically not a scam. But it sure stinks. And they claim to be an honest business.
