lousy service
Well, received a phone call from StraightTalk regarding my refund that was promised 30 days after they received it. (They received it Sept 28, 2010 and still no check as of today!) After calling Walmart Headquarters, yesterday, Straight Talk did call today to tell me it was MY PROBLEM! (My notes have me speaking immediately to a Carlos at StraightTalk after after leaving UPS and telling him it was sent. Called them back a few days later initially they said they didn't receive it until I told them it was signed by name Barker at Medley, Fl, at 2:23 pm, and again gave the tracking number. Again told I would receive my check in 30 days from Sept 28. Oct. 38 called to be told they were working on it and to "be patient"! that they were working on it as of the 14th of Oct. Today I was told it was my fault for although they did in fact have the tracking number, they stated they didn't get it until Oct. 14! I should have called them to tell them the tracking number! She said, "they were still working on it and to expect it in the future". It has been long over 30 days! Do not, I repeat, do not use Straight Talk, and if more called Walmart Headquarters to complain!!!

Dishonest and not truthful!
Sad it has been almost two months and promised within 30 days I would receive my refund check from the day they received it. Oh, when I called, they never received it UNTIL I gave them the name, time it was received, then they "suddently" found it! After waiting over 30 days told they were "still working on it and be patient"! Calling Walmart Headquarters is just as bad. They have no direct line to them-must go by email but no response...at least never have had a return call! It is as if they don't want to be bothered! Walmart sends their time advertising and standing behind this product that is no only inferior, full of problems, and the customer service telling one thing; doing another. I suggested Walmart go on line and read some of the complaints, but they said didn't answer just "thank you for being such a good customer!" They have been looking into the matter for several weeks but no return calls. Do not, I repeat, do not purchase a Straight Talk phone. You will be angry! AND if needs to be replaced? Expect a used, scratched, inferior product in exchange for the brand new one-and not even the same brand or features-as the one you sent. That is their right I was told!

Where did I leave off? The backing of the phone was lost, and a replacement came, but not of the same brand, and the one sent a cheap model that had been abused, scratched and in bad condition. (Told they could do that!) After contacting Walmart Headquarters-and going back to Walmart store and the two managers spending about 1 hour with them-if I would return the damaged/abused, bad conditioned phone they would issue me a check within 30 days. Immediatly sent it via UPS, called Straighttalk and spoke with a Carlos who again said a check would be issued within 30 days. That was Sept 23. I called thereafter to be told it was "never received". When I stated I have the confirmation it was received on 9-28-10 @ 2.23 and signed by a "Barker", it was suddenly found. Told I would get the refund check within 30 days from when received. I called end of Sept. to be told "activity" was on the request and I needed to learn to be patient! HELLO! Where is the honesty? Where is the truthfulness of replacing the same phone. When I returned a phone-with backing gone and having paid about 100.00 dollars, I never thought they would feel it OK to send me a cheap phone of a different name and other features I paid for. Do not use this company! Not only is it hard to understand the people talking on the other end of the phone, they have no intention of helping; i.e. apologize but have a set set of words to say. I had dealt with them before only to be told the item was never received; received that is until I could give them proof! I have also complained to Consumers Affairs, and Better Business Bureau and if others would as well, maybe Walmart will take notice!

Tips for customers
i hope you saw my last comments about youre complains...i just want to let you know that everyone is human, everyone wants to have a job and provide a better life to theyre family there is no need to tell crappy things about the customer care center! they do what they were asign to do!...unfortunatley everyone has to do what theyre boss tell u to do!

now my suggestions!
add youre min on the expiration date ASK THE TIME TO DO IT BEFORE THE TIME OTHERWISE URE PHONE WILL BE DISCONECTED AND THERE IS NO WAY TO HAVE THE NUMBER BACK!

remember that when you have problems to make and received calls or maybe text or signal dial
*22890 *22891 and *22801!!

LG 200c doesnt provide picture messages! ive got one of does phones!! and i didnt knew that i was unable to use the picture messages!

i recomend samsung! its one of the better options that they have i have one of does now!
and just remember u are not the only one whos calling customer cervice and if u have issue with the phone dont call them from ure cellphone otherwise u will need to call them from a different line and u just waste ure time! and if u will call them from ure cellphone dial *611 because if u dial the 1877 number u will be charge!

can't add refill card and if you call cust. care # it says welcome to American Roaming
I have been trying to check my service end date both online and by phone for the last 2 days and it tells me "We need time to process your request.Please do not click on submit again because this could cause your transaction to fail, etc. because I knew my service end date was close. So I decide to just to Walmart pick up another card to add, call the number and add, it tells me to allow 5 minutes. Well it is now the next day and I went online and the only option it would give me on my account is to reactivate possibly with a new number. So I go ahead and try that, it already has all my phones info. because I registered it online. Then, it tells me that I can't use that card because it's already in use. I have had this phone about 3 or 4 months and have had problems every month with adding service days. It told me to call the customer care #, so I do and it says "welcome to american roaming prepaid! "So I still have no phone and can't reach customer service. My next step is going to be contacting an Attorney because this really tops it all! It would not allow me to save to my computer, but I did copy it.

cant get web browser
I bought a straight talk phone and plan from walmart. i am on my thrid phone becquse i cant get the web browser and they will not fix it . i should go to metro pc meredith hochstetter
