I recently purchased a Philips 42PF7320A/37 on April 21, 2006 after researching other brands because of it's excellent picture quality rating. I purchased your product through Expo Electronics online with a manufacturer's warranty of 1 year included. When the TV was delivered May 5, 2006 it was damaged. So I called Philips customer service number 1866-845-3578. The technician provided me with the following local companies for repair:
* Strauss Photo Technical Service (202)-529-3200
1240 Mt. Olivet Rd. N.E.
Washington, DC 20002
To date July 11, 2006 Philips customer service has informed me that they have ordered the PDP (Plasma Display Panel) that Strauss ordered for my TV, however, Strauss Photo Techinical Service needs to call Philips assistance department to release the parts. It seems to me that after 4 months of back and forth run around and the Better Business Bureau follow up that they would just go ahead and expedite this part and get this $1700 TV repaired. It seems that customer service is not very high on both of these business priorities. A call from a lawyer doesn't seem to work either, letter to the state attorney's office etc....
