We've never had any problems with stride rite shoes for our kids, curious if these were knock-offs. Anyway we were given two pair of shoes for summer (slip-on water shoes) in May 2010 and a gift receipt. A mere couple of months in Houston, I thought it odd one shoe did not fit. Like the left footed shoe is shrunk and warped at sole from being in and out of the car through August. Boy's blue pair with velcro strap and crab depicted on the sole of the shoe. Girl's red pair with velcro right foot, shoe slightly tighter and looked at it to see the shoe is noticably smaller adn heal area shrunk. It was odd for to loose these shoes and kids have a lot of memories with use. Looking online for another pair (s) and unable to locate model or replacements.

Taking these to a local store, to see if they were interested or had any reference, it was none really. We did buy more shoes of traditional sneaker style, but these will be favored for non-croc and backyard use.
