I'm really tired of stupid people claiming they have done everything right to ensure they protected their personal financial and personal identification information so they don't get ripped off. All these Xoomer complainers have one thing in common...they don't read. there are several "copy cat" websites claiming to be Xoom.com and this is one of them "Xoom.Global-Money-Transfer.com". There are others that use similar color schemes and so forth to get the consumer sucked in. I never give my personal bank account information to make a purchase of any kind. I USE my accounts to make dispersements that I AUTHORIZE from my bank account or debit card. I have protection leves set at my bank that ensure I am called prior to a strange demand from a company that did not originate with me. Stupid people do things the opposite way around and/or bank with less than reputable institutions. Maybe they should be accepting blame righteously so and additionally filing complaints with the Federal Banking Instituition and/or FBI to get the banks examined that say they cannot do anything about ripping them off. More than likely the inside job is being pulled thru the US bank they are trusting and not a company they are doing business with. A quick look at how unscrupulous our banks are and and how many are only in operation becasue they keep taking and squandering our tax dollars given to them instead of being allowed to go under or taken over by the US government. Trusting Western Union is not as wise as the stupid people think. Western Union has settle three class action law suits out of court becasue they mishandle transfers as well. they take you money, make the transfer and pay the exchange rate the day the money is picked up on the other end in what ever foreign country. If the exchange rate is less than what it was on the day the trasfer was made, then the reciever does not benefit, the sender is not sent a rebate and Western Union simply pockets the difference and no one is supposed to question their unethical practices. Every three or four years a group of lawyers rises up and tags them for this practice. All the Western Union patrons who lost money on this practice gets a check for maybe 10-25 cents while that group of lawyers makes the big landfall cash settlement from Western Union. Welcome to capitalism stupid people. All you have to do is thorughly investigate a site before trusting them with your information. Do it wisely and you will be happy from now on...continue to be an ostrich with your head in the sand and you will always have a thorn in your foot and crying foul all the time. DON'T continue to allow your selves to be fooled by "copy cat" websites, wise-up idiots and fools. Stop being stupid!
