Poor service
Subway operating under aclu violations, etc. and over charging for the chicken pizziola sub. This has been going on for over a year.

I have complained about the all Pakistani run Subway in Samson, Al. before. Subway has never done anything about my complaints. They will not hire other races. I’ve seen white and black people stay there for a few days and then they are gone.

They also speak poor English and do not comprehend the cost of adding extra meat, etc. They believe that meatball sauce added to pepperoni and chicken breast, qualifies as added $3.00 to the price of a foot long sub.

They do not know how to handle bad situations
Well... i was with my mate ordering a sub as i was hungry. The procedure of ordering went normally and i took the sub home to share with my sister. I had finished eating and so had my sister and she then pointed out that she found a bone (thin, long and pointy) in the sub that she almost choked on. I took this seriously and then went to complain. There was no-one in line and only one customer sitting down eating, so this was the right time to make a complaint (in case it turned into conflict). I told the man the situation. He took everything on board of what i had said to him. he even admitted it was a bone, and i pointed out that my sister almost choked and i wanted something done about it. A lady that worked there then walked in and got herself involved. I explained again what the situation was. She then observed the bone, and said by looking at the texture it was a vegetable. I was then confused on how she could think it was a vegetable. I made my point more clearly and she then started laughing. she then bribed me with a cookie. She told me nothing can happen, or i take the cookie and go away. I was not falling for this bribe. i then asked for the manager. He apparently was at home. After they had finished observing the bone, he put it on the plastic bag and on his plastics gloves and then threw it behind the wall. I then asked for the evidence back as they wanted me to come in tomorrow to speak to the manager. I then got him to call up the manager in front of me. The manager also said nothing can be done. He gave me back the plastic bag in which the bone was in. i went just outside and then remembered that he did not put it back into the bag. I went back in saying he did not put it back in the bag. They were also saying that they had put it back in. They were obviously trying to make a fool out of me. She then started laughing and called me an idiot. I then noted to her that staff cannot call customers rude names. i took this situation very calmly. I think all subway staff need to go through a conflict resolution training course because they have obviously not been trained. They showed disrespect and very bad customer service. The only solution was for me to accept the cookie. I was not at all happy about this so am now going to complain to their head office and tell all people i know not to eat at subway anymore.

Rude manager and incompetent workers
My husband and I were traveling back home from vacation. We stopped to fill up our car when we noticed that their was a subway with the gas station. We decided to also eat lunch. We ordered a $5.00 blt footlong. My husband decided that he wanted extra bacon. (He almost always orders extra bacon at every subway we go to.) The Lady who was making our sandwich was a real piece of work. We had to repeat everything about three times because she couldn't remember what we wanted on the sub. When it came time to pay the Lady making our sub and the cashier were having a debate about how to ring up the extra bacon. The Lady who made the sandwich said that extra bacon was the same thing as double meat and to ring it up that way. Ok, what ever. My husband went to pay and I filled up our drink and found a place to sit. When he came over I asked him how much the meal was and when he told me I had to take a look at the price. Our sandwich some how cost us $8.31. That seemed a little high so I went to check the board and find out how much extra bacon was. I found out that it was $1.20. So I figured out in my head that the sandwich should have cost us $6.20. We went to speak to the cashier and the Lady who made our sandwich came over. She tried to tell me that she gave us more bacon that she should have for extra bacon so we had to pay the double meat. I told her that I'm sorry but we ordered extra bacon and that if she made the mistake we shouldn't have to pay for it. She then said that since the only meat on our sandwich was bacon we had to pay double meat, I told her that we have never had to do that. She went on about how could we expect to pay only $1.20 when we got 8 pieces of bacon. (not the 4 she should have given us.) I asked if I could speak to a manager since she wouldn't fix the price mistake. He came out and instead of asking us how he could help he said to the lady so why are they complaining? She started to say that my husband ordered the sandwich and she heard him say double meat. I spoke up and said excuse me but we ordered extra bacon. He yelled at me and said I'm trying to talk to her and just shut up. That made me mad. He then sat there and said so how much bacon did you give them she said 8 extra pieces. He said well that is double so they got what they paid for. I cut in again and said I'm sorry but we ordered extra bacon the price says $1.20 not $2.40 like we were charged. He got attitude again and said I'm not talking to you I'd like to talk to your husband. I then asked if there was anyone else in charge, he was it and said you can call corporate headquarters if you'd like. I said I would like to get the extra money that we paid back. He then went on about how I guess we could afford to give them the price for the extra bacon even though we gave them more than we should have. Well he was starting to fix the price when he noticed that they had made another mistake. They hadn't even given us the sandwich for the $5.00 price that they should have and then he kind of got nice but would only show my husband what was going on. He gave me a napkin that has a 1800 number for subway. I thought ok it's fixed so I won't worry about it but then as we are going to leave he says. What is your name? I said why does that matter. He then looks at our receipt and says well I have your name now or close enough. (We paid with a credit card so my husbands name showed up.) He said that he was going to call the headquarters and complain about me. I thought ok buddy but it is on. What a rude jerk. This could have been all avoided if the Lady who made our sandwich would have known there was a difference between extra bacon and double meat all she had to do was look at the board behind her and see the prices. I doubt we will ever go back. Just a side note we weren't the only ones there who had a mistake on their price but some how they were able to fix it without involving a manager.

They’re wasting food
I ordered the little small sub sandwich, to which the person waiting on me cuts off about 2" of the end of the bread. When asked why this was done, his response was "that's what we are taught to do." She looked rather annoyed at my mentioning this, but what on earth would the manager or owner, for that matter, instruct people to throw away food. Why not charge a dime more and not throw away that little snippet of bread. Maybe they never had to go hungry before. What a terrible waste when there are people starving too.

Awful food & customer service
This particular Subway has always had the most indifferent workers, but at least they were not rude. Today, I was "served" by this new, scary looking old woman who had a bad attitude right from the beginning - when I asked for my sandwich to be the way I wanted (she tried to toast it HER WAY). She started slamming the refrigerator doors, throwing lids, mumbling something angry to herself... She left my sandwich to sit on the counter open for 10 minutes while she was serving 2 more customers after me. When I said I didn't want it any more, she threw it in the garbage yelling, " Wasting my freaking food! I'm trying to work here!!!"

She convinced my son to make his sandwich HER WAY (he was afraid to argue, so later on he told me he didn't really like it...) The whole time she kept impatiently yelling at my kids, "C'mon, guys, hurry!" when they were thinking what to get on the sandwich (considering nobody else was in line). At the end, my husband asked for a new sandwich for me, and she gave me twice as little salami on it than what it's supposed to have for the price.

Her name is Denise, if she didn't trick us - just to your knowledge...

Served nasty dirty food to me and my kids
Me my husband and children visited a subway on Pontiac trail in Southlyon, MI.

let me start by saying how completely dirty it was in the whole restaurant the line was so dirty I couldn’t even fathom the thought of ordering food from there it was very gross all the tables including floor was again filthy the tuna had turned almost black from sitting and not being replaced there was no wheat bread available but the biggest thing was the filth the line was so nasty not even my 12 year old son would eat there and he eats everything and anything...all the employees were standing around leaning on the counters and one tried to not even wear her gloves eww..

Poor food service and terrible customer service
Well were do I begin... I have been enjoying subway for many years... I used to think there quickness and friendliness was one of the greatest assets..but recently my family and I visited this location as we had recently moved to the area... when we entered the establishment we created with, " How can I help you make it quick I don't have time to wait.", as there was no other customers in the store. We didn't pay any mind and then proceeded to place our order we were rushed into ordering rudely getting cut off in mid-stream of ordering... The associate who was waiting on us incorrectly prepared one of our sandwich's... put tomatoes on a sub which normal would not be a big deal... but recently diagnosed with an user... I asked the associate if they could be removed I was treated like a 5 yr old child who just broke a priceless glass. I briefly explained my situation to her but was snickered at and told, " well you must have said tomatoes because I have been doing this for 9 yrs and this is the first time I have ever made a mistake on ANYONE'S sandwich.." At that point I asked to speak to a manager I was then told that the person I was dealing with was the manager in a very rude manor... I turned to my wife and we both agree to leave the establishment... my point being is were does customer service go and I always thought that someone being in a managerial position should have a little more coach than that...! Maybe subway's commercials should re-evaluate the modo!

Do not go there
All I am going to say is this: Anyone who continuously eats at a Subway must not have taste buds or a preference for decent food. Look at what they offer! Dry, tasteless bread, processed meats and cheeses (quality greatly lacking here too), dried out vegetables, and you walk out of there smelling like the place! I ordered a chicken breast sandwich and was disgusted to see the person pick up what was clearly a processed patio NOT a chicken breast, and it tasted horrible. Screw Subway I'd rather pay the extra to go to Quiznoes and get REAL chicken breast!

Rip-off!
I went to Subway at my local mall outside of Pittsburgh, Pa and again had the miserable manager wait on me, who never says thank-you.The huge banner was still on the wall that advertises "Any footlong sub for $5" so I ordered a footlong Subway Club. When he was making it, I noticed that the roast beef was all pink. Then when he went to the cash register to ring it up, he said it would be $8.79 for the sub and the 3 cookies I ordered that are 3 for $1.19.I asked him why isn't the sub $5 and he said this one is one of five that are not $5.I told him forget it since I didn't have enough cash on me and didn't feel like putting it on my debit card. He huffed and acted all pissed off.I went to another Subway, and told the manager there and she said that hers and his Subway are part of the Pittsburgh area Subways that are offering all of its footlong subs for $5 except for the premium subs which I did not order.She also said that he could of easily gave it to me for $5.I then told her I will from now on go to her Subway and not get ripped off at the one at the mall.I have frequently gone to this Subway at the mall, and can't believe how I was almost ripped off, treated rude and almost was given raw roast beef.

The treatment you get from the employee's and the handling of the food!
My wife works at the connecting gas station. she seen one of the employee's let people behind the counter. Let them make food for them and people that came into order stuff and gave them their food for free and the same girl had a boyfriend that was up their from time she came in to the time she left. so she told the ass manager their. Well i guess they found out about it. Because one day we went up their. Just to drop off a key at rapid roberts (the gas station) and i see her in their just talking with a coworker. Well she comes out and the subways girl boyfriend just follows her out cussing at my wife. Now i do have a one and half year old and a 6 mo old in the car. So i am asking my wife whats that about? You know and he still just screaming away. Then the subway girl comes out... starts screaming as loud as she can all the cuss words she can. edit coworker had to come out and drag her inside. Well her boyfreind is still cussing and screaming and we haven't said anything to one of them. Well my wife turns around and saids i eat their about every day so i have a right to complain. He told her to shut the f up. So i turned and said you need to get in before their is a problem because no one tells my wife to shut up. Well he takes his 22 year old self and runs inside cussing and screaming all the way. Now this hole time the subway girls been on the clock at work. Well me and my wife go to the cops. He calls her and gets all the subway girls info. and tell hers if she bothers her again. We can get a xparte she wont be allowed with 150 ft that means she couldn't go to work. Well her bf gets told by the rapid roberts manager hes not allowed back in their. The next day and that subway girl is just running her mouth at edith the hole time. Well it took the manager of rapid roberts to say hey you wont be allowed back in here if you keep that up to. To shut her up. because i don't know if the manager is their family or friend or incompetent. Because i guess she don't see anything wrong she did? I guess thats a ok to way for her employee's to act. I never seen anyone do that over a complaint. She was even cussing the cop on the phone. and her manager wants to keep her. So i have complain to www.subway.com and my wife called their complaint line. Now if the owner does something about it that would be nice, but i am not sure about that. All this happened in 5 month-2008 year. If theirs more i can do about this i would like the info, because i am going to tell everyone that i know.
