I bought an Ford Ranger bakkie from Sullivan's Auto Sales in Goodwood. It was the biggest mistake I have ever made and this is why:
1. The bakkie was advertised with a full service history, this was an lie and when I got there there was no spare key, sentral locking not working, etc - non of these problems was on the report.

2. I had the bakkie for 7 days when the ABS brakes failed, (sensor fell out of the wheel)

3. The same day the clutch burned out, pressure plate colapsed - due to an guide bearing failure.

4. The 4x4 system as well as the difflock system failed.

5. One of the CV joints failed and I had to replace the complete propshaft (CV no longer available)

All of this happed 7 days after I got the bakkie, I phoned Sullivan's Auto Sales in Goodwood and Bellville to tell them that they sold me an dud bakkie.

I got the following answer: " We are very sorry to hear about your problem sir, but that is your problem and not ours"...

I ended up paying R18000 just to get the bakkie on the road again, the 4x4 system is still down.
I have proof of all the faults with dates that proofs everything.

Watch out for SULLIVAN'S AUTO SALES - they DO NOT CARE!!!
