I purchased a set of Sumitomo Tires from Daytona Toyota. The day I bought them, I drove 35 milies home, right to the supermarket. Came out, and the new tire was flat. Took it in, and nothing was wrong, they said.
Went to Orlando right after the dealer, and woke up the next morning, flat again! Called AAA, they put a donut on, and I ruined a day at my time share, getting a place to put on the tire. Air valve again.
Third time, at hairdresser, flat again! Called AAA, Daytona Toyotoa repaced the valves. Several months later
flat again. Called AAA. Never the same tire, and remember all new valves put on. Today, for the fith time, ruined my day again. In 1 year and a few months, five air valve failures. Dealer thinks I have gremlins in my garage, or it is being vandaled. Ha! Beats helping this 67 year old woman solving the problem correctly.
Anyone else with this problem? Please reply, as I want to replace them with new tires, but dealer said that would be like putting on a new hood, when the old one doesn't close.
