I worked for this company for a short period of time. During this time I was recruited to sell directv out of best buy retail locations. Which the retail locations are about an hour away from the office which you must drive to and no gas is reimbursed. Upon getting hired I was informed that this job was base pay or minimum wage, which ever was higher for the pay period it was you would recieve. I worked six days about 10 hours a day. My first check was in the amount of $150. To my knowlege minimum wage in Colorado is 7.26 and hour. Times that by 60 and you get $435.60 not $150.00. Upon recieving this paycheck I questioned this and did the math. I was informed that I was given a minimum wage advance, which they explained to me was nice of them? Then they proceeded to tell me that when my comissions went through they would subtract this so called gift of a paycheck? After this I decided to do some research and found out that this company was really Smart Cirle. The reviews of smart circle are exactly what I experienced, they make you teach and train others in hopes of moving up so you can open your own Scam and lure in desperate job seekers. In my research Smart Circle recieved an F from the Better Business Bureau and is all over the internet tied to scams and ripoffs. It is sad that multilevel pyramid companies can't get away with this in a weak economy where people are desperate for jobs. I just wanted to alert anyone who is even considering working for this company or has an interview set up. They are all over Monster and Career Builder so watch out and please don't waste your time like I did.
