Not able to watch any TV channel
I am unfortunate customer of Sun Direct in Tamil Nadu. There has been no response for a complaint stating channels clashing and hence not able to watch TV for the past one month.
I have been a customer of Sun DTH in Bangalore for 3 years. There hasn't been one issue. Wanted to take up Sun DTH here in Chennai but Chennai service is useless. I got the connection in mid of November and from day one I have not been able to watch TV for more than 5 minutes.
I filed a complaint a month back stating my channels were clashing and hence I was not able to watch any channel for more than 5 minutes. No one has even bothered to respond to that complaint.
Every time I call the customer service, they say they are sorry for the inconvenience. but who wants your sorry when it is used as just a word and not meant to resolve my issue.
I am not sure how to escalate the problem . This is not an issue of realignment. This is a new connection which is not working fine.
Hope at least after filing this complaint some one would look into my issue.

Worst customer service/ Blank Service
Hello,
I am a customer of Sun DTH (smart card#41233477524). Due to the satellite failure, many of the channels are blank. It was first reported on 31st July 2010. We were told it would take few days to get it resolved. After a month again we called up and we were told that the dish needs to be realigned and it will be done in a week by their technician. Another month passed and more channels went blank. On 2nd Nov 2010, we were told that our complaint has not been logged yet!!!. We were then given assurance that the technician will attend it in 3 days. Called up the customer care again on the 4th day and usual we were told it will take another 3 days. Today it's 11th Nov 2010 and again i am told that it will take 3 days to rectify the problem. It's NOT 3 DAYS BUT 3 MONTHS SINCE THE COMPLAINT WAS LOGGED AND IT'S NOT BEEN RECTIFIED. THE CUSTOMER CARE IS FILLED UP WITH A BUNCH OF IDIOTS WHO HAVE A STANDARD REPLY FOR ALL COMPLAINTS. YOU ASK FOR THEIR SENIOR OR MANAGER AND THEY SAY THEY THEMSELVES ARE THE SENIOR GUYS. I HAVE REGISTERED THE COMPLAINT ONLINE AND ALSO SENT A MAIL TO THE DELHI INCHARGE BUT NO RESPONSE.
I strongly advise you to not go with this pathetic provider. This might be the cheapest as their ad claims but only if you get to see the channels !!! I am paying for the set top box with some doordarshan channels to watch...

Blank Screen
Hi, I have bought a new connection (smart card no: 41329427151) two months back. In this two months I am able to see only ten days all the channesls.
For last two weeks I am not able to see any channel. I have registered the last complaint on 11th August'10 (complaint number 1-399685862) . According to SUN DTH service assurance, with in 24 hours it will should be resolved.
Till now no one turned back. In this period, i have followed the same for six to seven times for the progress. No positive things turned yet.
On 22nd August'10, I received a message that the issue is resolved although that is not true. Till now I am not abale to see any channel (i.e. Blank Screen)
I gave them a call today (24th August, 2010), first they gave a in valid contact number of distributor to discuss the issue. On second time, another quey helper informed that it was not raining at Lajpat Nagar, thats why the issue was closed from SUN DTH side.
I spoken with their senior member Imran and Nashad, their reply was "We cant help you"
Now tell me from where I will get the help!?
