My girlfriend and I were completely mislead when we signed up for TAN vacations. At the time that we attended one of their information sessions, we were concerned about the economy and if we would be able to finance this vacation package, if God forbid, either one of us were laid off. We were told flat out by the sales representative that if we need to cancel the vacation package, all we would have to do is simply write a letter to the headquartersexplaining the situation and our contract would be terminated. We were told that we would not be able to receive any of our money paid back on the package, which we were okay with, but that we would be able to cancel. Fast forward a few months and I was temporaily laid off. I contacted Sundance about canceling the vacation plan and was given the run around and told that I would not be able to cancel the plan.
Sundance has been incredibly rude, has not returned phone calls and is downright deceitful with their business practices. They were recently featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer concerning their unfair business practices. DO NOT GO TO AN INFORMATION SESSION AND ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM.
