I worked for this company from june 23 2007 up until january 6 2009 was very hard working and did every thing that was ask of me to do on every job assignment their. It was a total of at least 11 african american employees and about 6 total caucasion employees i really didnt think this lady was racist until i was layed off in january 2009 and i was called in the office with her having rush limbaugh on her portable radio playing talking about blacks and how obama didnt deserve to be president at the time and I was told to have a seat and she started to tell me she had recieved an ok from corporate office to lay me off because of the economy, witch was understandable on my behalf (but) i didnt agree because a caucasion worker who was hired about two months after me in my opinion should have been laid off before me because he was hired after me so i took my pink slip and left because i knew i had no winning chance with her she is the type of lady that has to have the last words when it comes to conversating with any colored person so i left the office and filed my unemployment. about three months later i went back to the job to try and get my job back and see if sunniland was hiring again i noticed (all) the african americans had been laid off and all the white 6 employees still had a job and it is also true that she rehired 2 more white employees that worked their before me and the reason i know its true is because i asked them and they told me when i was their trying to get my old job back so good luck to any colored person trying to get a job with this company SUNNILAND ROOFING SUPPLIES, Jacksonville, Florida University Blvd good luck you are going to need it!!!
