Customer Service- Parts Shipping
I have had some recent experience with Sunny Sports Inc myself. Their website is now www.scooterdepot.us I ordered an oil drain plug from them on 6/29/10. I was told when I ordered it that I would have it in 7-10 business days.( At a cost of $12 - not very happy about that cost of course, seems a little high for such a long delivery time.) Well it is now 7/13/10 and I have still not gotten my plug. Mind you I cannot operate my scooter without it and the rep that helped me with my order was advised of this. Well I called this morning at 8am PST and there were no managers in to assist me, so I left a msg which I told the secretary of the problem and that it was a part that I had ordered. As of 4:30pm PST I had still not gotten a return call, so I called them back. I got a man by the name of Kelly on the phone, after I had advised him of the problem he said that they do not send it out for 7 - 10 business days.(Not what I was told when I ordered the part) He then said that it takes the delivery time as well. I told him that for $12 for shipping and handling from California to Kansas it should not take 3 or 4 weeks to get the part. He then said that they could overnight the part but I would have to pay the cost of the service. When I told him that they should cover that due to the inconvenience they have caused by not properly stating their shipping procedures he asked if I wanted the part or not. This makes me think that unless I have it shipped out via overnight I may never get the part. After 10 min of him trying to play word games and degrade me with his comments I ended the call. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL! I will never order another part from them after this experience. I do not understand how a company like this continues to give it's customers the run around.
