I have been with Suntrust (Third National) since 1952. A few years ago we found they type of account we had was obsolete. For over 2 years they continued to take out the $13 dollars a month maintenance fee never telling us. They said that some want to continue the fee. Well not us. Recently we made a deposit and the next day it did not show up in the account. They deposited our check in someone else's account. We called about it and expected they would get back to us and let us know something. After a few hours I called wanting to know what they found out. When I called I was told this person was with a client. Well I asked what are we. Guess they did not like it since they sent us a letter closing our account...A senior citizen age 80 and this is the thank you for staying with this banking institution for 59 years. They really did not give a thought about the direct deposits we had to change since they only gave us 30 days from the time they wrote the letter and the closing date. I think all is well but a little worried about the Social Security. I pray we had enough time for the Social Security office to make the change to our new bank so it will not be sent back. I am sure this banking company does not want the older generation. Take a look inside and you will see nothing but young guns who have not respect for our seniors...Thank you
