Defect Tyre
I fitted 4 new tyres and rims on the 29/01/2011 at a cost of R7200.00. After 1 week, the drivers side rear tyre was flat. I called Supa Quick, they asked me to bring the vehicle back to them as they wanted to inspect the tyre / rim. After inspection they replied saying that nothing is wrong, maybe the tyre wasnt seated correctly and it should be ok (they also filled grease around the tyre lip) After another week, the tyre was flat again, I called and was asked to come back, This time they thought it was the mag rim and a new one was ordered, with a 2 week waiting period. A new rim was then fitted with the same tyre. Two week later the tyre was flat again, I was called back, the tyre was checked, nothing wrong according to them, grease was filled again and i was sent off. On the 16/04/2011, I visited Supa Quick again, the tyre was checked, in my presence. I watched as the tyre was placed in a water drum, and I pointed out to the technician and so called manager that the tyre was leaking. The spot was marked with a white chalk. They both accepted and acknowledged that there was a problem with the tyre. I was then refered to Bridgestone in Mobeni. I visited Bridgestone on the 19/04/2011 at 08.30am, the trye was checked and no fault was found. In their presence, I called Supa Quick and asked them to explain the problem to Bridgestone. I was told that there is no problem, however if the tyre did go flat again, it would be replaced. As i left bridgstone, I was asked to complete a customer survey form, no one from Bridgestone has called to find out why I was unhappy with their service. I am disappointed that there customer from both Supa Quick and Bridgestone is PATHETIC !!!
