Stranded in Michigan
My name is Brittany, me and my fiance' were employed by Super Star Sales for 3 months, working for Jeff Rotassi, upon joining the company we were informed that for any reason if we wanted to go home our return ticket was guaranteed, Well when that time came we did not get our tickets, We were told to leave our belongings behind and walk, They accused us of stealing sales material which we did not possess we even allowed the car handler Francise Holder to go through our bags to make sure we did not have any materials, We were finally permitted to take our things with us and were sent walking, no money no tickets and no way home, mind you we were in Grand Rapids, MI and my home town is in northern California, we walked to a near by hotel where the office woman allowed us to sit in the lobby and have access to the computer, in some ditch effort of finding our way home, We spent two days at the bus station befor my mother was able to purchase our tickets, we pan handled and begged our way to food, and some confort, not the place we seen ourselves when we embarked on the amazing Traveling Sales job we had been sucked into. I do not know if this is the kind of complaint you would like to hear but the company recruits hundreds of kids a year, teach them little sales tactics and encourage lying and munipultion, all for the sale all for the company, where we as sales reps get the jail time, the fines, the bad name, and the company gets the profits there has got to be some way of closing down these busnisses, they extort children many times playing on there need for belonging, and in return for our hard work and long days, we get crammed into hotel rooms, stranded, verbably abused and in some cases [[ here say ]] physically... this is a sick industry, one i myself would like to see crash and burn
