Hello. My name is Ella Cayton and I am emailing about my husband's, William Cayton, account.
I spoke with Gavin Peka last Wednesday with the assurance I would hear back from him within 48 hours. I have phoned and left two messages this week, one on Monday (5/2) and again on Wednesday (5/4) with no response. I was assigned a case number; 3576355.
To give you some background:
I placed an order online April 2. The product ordered was a PC tablet. It was not until I received order confirmation that I learned I was not dealing with Sears. On the 12th, I received notification that my order had been shipped. A week later, I was emailing back and forth about the shipment. No one seemed to know where it was or when I could expect it. I did finally receive it on the the 27th of April. It was shipped from SP Electronics in Greensboro, NC which is 20 miles from my home. The PC tablet came with no instruction manual, no information of any kind. When I tried to find a number for SP Electronics in Greensboro, I found there is no such company and the address is for an apartment complex. I have a PC with no way of knowing how to use it. I phoned Sears (1.847.286.2500) and spoke to Kimberly. She put me in touch with someone... I have no idea who, who gave me a number for Unbeatable Deals. That number is no longer in service. I phoned the above number again and was put in touch with Gavin Peka. I spoke at length with him and felt quite sure that he would be able to help me.
I have a PC tablet I can't use, no way to contact SP Electronics or Unbeatable Deals and a bill from Sears that includes $239.03 for the PC tablet I can't use. I would like to return this tablet but have no where to return it. Sears in Reidsville tried to help, but of course, they aren't able to. The tablet was billed to our Sears account from someone in Iowa.
Please tell me something can be done. I have known of Sears since I was a child (over 50 years) and would hate to stop trading with this company but at this point I am so disappointed. I can not understand why such a reputable company such as yours, would even deal with Unbeatable Deals.
