I fell for the same "free" sample scam that others did. A "teacher" in my home town said how great the offer was. I went to the site and requested the "free" sample and the web site kept freezing up. None of the conditions EVER displayed. The "free sample showed up 10 days later and a month later I started seeing $99.92 debited from my account. I called and explained that I was never notified, nor offered the usual "I have read and understand the terms and conditions" check box.
The "service reps" were difficult to work with and unyielding. Told me that there was a $35 restocking fee which I fought to no avail. They gave me a return merchandise authorization number and told me that I would see a refund, less the 35% in 7-10 business days. 5 weeks later I hadn't received my refund. I called again and they told me that I was supposed to call, again, and tell them the product was shipped. Now my refund is 42% of the total charged.
I've been involved in the internet for 16 years as a business owner. Companies like this have no class or integrity and reflect badly on legitimate busionesses that do things the American way and honor their customers, and stand behind their products.
Super Star Smile, and Body Core, the comapny that ships the product should be ashamed.
Don't get caught up in this scam. That's exactly what it is!
