There was no phone call. The following appeared on my bank account when I viewed online: SUP*GROWTHTOOLS 866-451-4292 OH 5008 CKCD PURCH $79.17. I had NO EARTHLY IDEA what this was for, so I called the number. The first time THEY asked ME what number I had just dialed - first indication of a RAT! Patricia said this was for something ordered called SUCCESS GRANTS. I explained that NO SUCH THING had been ordered, which she argued very aggressively. I explained that my father had been extremely ill with Alzheimer's last stages and passed on 12/11/09, and that we had kept him at home to care for him - that NO ONE had time to even think about ordering anything from this house!! She was extremely rude, insisted I was wrong/lying, said that they did NOT have to refund ANY money, NO MATTER WHAT!!! Then she said they were slotted to charge me ANOTHER $79.86 on 12/31, unless I cancelled!!! I said, "Cancel what, " and the story goes on .. SO, she cancelled "whatever" this was and would not refund the money. I called right back and got someone else, went through the same crap with no good result for me. I asked to speak with a supervisor to which she replied this "did not require the help of a supervisor." THESE PEOPLE ARE RIP-OFF ARTISTS! I cannot believe how they play on people's lives and STEAL from them in front of GOD and everybody. ... This charge to my account caused me to overdraw and bounce a payment to a bonafide bill, so now I am in trouble with a creditor and have a negative balance at the bank - on 12/21. Christmas - what is that? ... I have called my bank and they are filing a claim for fraud and will get that paperwork underway this week. I am NOT going to stop with these people. I had to cancel my debit card to be sure that they (or anyone else) cannot charge anything else to my account. ... I intend to also contact the Better Business Bureau and anyone else I can think of because this kind of scamming has to stop. ... I just cannot believe how people do this and sleep at night. God help them.
