Respected Sir/Madam,
with immense, heartfelt and humble request we the people of Darjeeling would like to vehemently oppose the incident occurred on the 9th of April, 2008. Mass rally was organized by the ex-servicemen of Darjeeling from Darjeeling More, Siliguri (District: Darjeeling) which was well-disciplined and peaceful for the demand of a separate state-GORKHALAND. Stupendous act by the police force and RAF (Rapid Action Force) was the mother which gave birth to one of the most shameful and unheard act in any state police history of India. Policemen lathicharged, pelted stones and fired tear gas injuring many Ex-servicemen straining their age old medals preserved by them as a treasure with their own blood, in order to stop the procession from entering them to Siliguri (Court More).
If any media especially leading news channels want the live footage of the incident we are ever ready to provide the same. We don’t want Bengal Government as a deceptive and dicey middleman between our demand and Central Government. Nothing can profound our desire for the want of separate state. It is crystal clear that we are suppressed by the Bengal Government simply because our demand is 101 years old. All the previous leader of Darjeeling was cheap and shameless enough to sell themselves as well as the public of Darjeeling, which till now was bought by the no-one but the Bengal government. We are ready to sacrifice everything if the Central Govt. and the State Govt. of India takes our demand lightly and thinks it as a whimper.GORKHALAND is our birth right and no-one cane stop us from achieving our goal. If Central Govt. and the State Govt. are thinking of any propensity to pacify our revolution, it will be of no use. We the people of Darjeeling request all the leading Medias that instead of broadcasting worthless and monotonous issues please focus on our ambitious movement which is ready to burst.
Although, we have more than 16 lakh viewers why isn’t our issue covered and broadcasted by leading Medias? If any media can cover our issue then there isn’t any word in any dictionary to express our gratitude towards your channel.
