i bought a Onida DVD through indiatimes shopping recently using visa card. i received a defective DVD. the supplier's proper address was not provided. so i found difficult to find the suppliers full address to contact them. after hectic search i got the address and telephone no of the supplier. i contacted over the phone the supplier, the supplier told me to take the defective dvd to the nearest service center. i declined to do so. because i bought a new dvd not to repair and use and avoid inconvenience and reliable use of the product ie i bought a new product. if i want repair and use 2nd product available half of the price in the local market, no need of internet shopping. moreover to avoid inconvenience i used the internet shopping.<br />

once i refused to take the service center for repairing the defective dvd, the sender asked me to send the defective dvd through courier for a new replacement, the sender promised me he will later credit the courier charge for returning the item to my account which did not happen till today. whenever i call him he asks my a/c details but no use.<br />

i sent the defective item to the sender. but instead of replacing the defective DVD, the sender repaired and sent back to me. i am forced to accept the defective repaired dvd. i contacted the India times number of times. but they did not reply back yet. <br />

it was a very poor service i got from India times. i am forced to pay more as well as forced to accept defective repaired item.<br />
