Surplus Freight Furniture Reviews

Unacceptable
We paid for a couch, love seat, 2 end tables, a coffee table and 2 lamps. They were suppose to deliver it yesterday by 6pm. When I called the company to confirm the delivery yesterday they informed me that my couches were not there and that they were on a train somewhere in pennsylvania. and that they wouldn't be here until friday of the next week. I told them that this was unexceptable and they said they could give me the floor model and have it delivered the next day by noon and throw in 2 free lamps. i agreed to this. they also said that if there was any damage to the couches that they would give us a full refund. well once the couches were delivered i noticed each couch had several rips in the fabric and also the 2 free lamps where not included with the delivery. i called immediately to the store while the delivery guys were still here. and the store manager chris told me that i had refused the free lamps and i told him that was incorrect. i then told him of the rips in the couches and he proceeded to tell me that i could have a new couch and loveseat once the other shipment comes in but he has no idea when that will be. i also inquired about the refund and he said we would have to pay to return the delivery and then wait for an undetermined time for the corporate office to send us a check in the mail.. so i asked for the corporate phone number and he said he didn't have it. i told him he had to give me the corporate number and that it was against policy to refuse so he gave me this number 1-614-236-3000. he then said that once the new shipment came in he would give us a call which he knew not when that would be he estimated but did not know for sure a two week period. he told us not to call him but that he would contact us when it came in. i want a full refund from these people. i tried calling the corporate number but it is just a voice mail recording that doesn't state whether or not it is surplus freight or not so i left a message on the accounts payable line in hopes to get a response. i have also done a bit of research online and apparently i am not alone in my complaint on this particular company. i hope that you can help me and others like me. this company should be looked into for all the trouble they are causing several consumers over different states. please help me figure out what to do... thank you for your time.

GREAT COMPANY!

THEY ARE GREAT!!!
I find it funny that all these people are complaining I have bought my living room furniture my bedroom and my kids bedroom furniture from this store, along with mattresses I have seen the customers that come in the store I have NEVER HAD A PROBLEM with anyone their or their policies I think that it is most likely customers complaining that dont understand english. Like i said i have been in that store more than once it looks like Ellis Island those poor sales people were having a hell of a time with all sorts of rude illegal aliens treating them like crep that didnt speak any freaking englis, THIS STORE WAS AWESOME AND HELPFULL IGNORE THE COMPLAINTS IT WAS THE BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT! LOVE THIS STORE

Misleading furniture store

Scam and cheating
In the latter part of March of 2009 I purchased over $1000 in furniture from this company and they never delivered the furniture. They kept on telling me that they had not recieved my order from their distributor inspite of guranteeing a specific delivery date. It has been well over a month and I am out $1000 and no furniture. They will give you the run around and now I am forced to have to go to court to recover my money.

Avoid this rip off store
AVOID THIS SCAMMER!!!

I purchased a mattress from the company. When I went to pick it up they claimed that I already picked it up. I did not. On their records is a signature that looks nothing like mine. The warehouse employee is supposed to record the license plate of the vehicle that picks up the furniture. The license plate number written on their record is "ABC 143". License plates in Washington do not even come in that form. I think that is made up and a simple variation of "ABC 123". I believe that they took the $437 cash that I paid them and made a false entry on their logs to deny me the mattress that I purchased. I've been back multiple times to try to resolve this issue, but the company is doing whatever it can to avoid a resolution. They claim to have video footage of the warehouse, but did not look at it because they know it will not show me picking up the mattress.

Mis-written My First Names
The Complaint detail of this furniture company, of they represent themself, a hard working company. The thing I disappointed, Pissed off that They can not spell my first name right on the reciept, for the item I brought there, and I will not to buy there anymore. I told them, and I call them, to informed them that you mistaked put down the wrong name, on the reciept, and they told they change my address, but not my first name.
