Its been over three weeks since I mailed my under warranty Suunto Vector ($200) watch in to fix a faceplate condensation and a battery O ring seal problem. An email and phone call only verified the repair center had received the watch. Both times I was informed "it is line on a first come first come first serve basis." Well, Suunto you either have inadequate trained watch repair personal, not enough hired, or your watches are just a big piece of shit that the repair backlog is out of hand and you plain don't care about customer care. These are simple fixes that any qualified watchmaker can repair in a few hours or less, not THREE WEEKS!
I should have stuck with my instincts and bought Casio for sport watches. At least I can get Casio repaired locally and in less than two days. Hear that Suunto, TWO DAYS for a repair!
