The Kokomo Swifty Gas Station is a "feeding frenzy" when their prices are lower than other stations. Patrons have to unsafely get in line on U.S. 31 to await their turn into the station. There is no one in charge of those people patiently waiting in line for their turn, nor anyone who polices it. The attendants pay no attention to vehicles who "cut in line" and the patrons are getting upset. Bigger cities have shootings over this type of occurrence. With the very high unemployment rate in Kokomo, and uncertainty of jobs, people are looking for a bargain, whether it be gas or food, and tempers are short. We'll probably have a shooting some day at the Swifty because of the uncontrolled behavior of the people waiting in line and the rude, inconsiderate people who cut in line.
