Membership REfund
Refund policy requires me to continue to be active using SwipeBids service and to exhaust the credits purchased by me at the outset of the membership. I did not read carefully and did not understand that I would be charged $150 for a membership, until I received the email invoice for the membership. When I investigated further, I learned that SwipeBids offers other membership levels, none of which were offered or explained at the time of sign-up. I was surprised to be charged a membership fee, in comparison with other online auction sites that do not charge a membership fee at the outset of membership. When I requested to speak with authority to get my refund, I was refused access to a phone number or mailing address where I could address the policy and request my refund. The only avenue offered was to address the issue through the online chat service. The refund policy is unethical, as it requires my use and participation of the service in order to be eligible to receive the advertised "guaranteed refund." If I do not wish to use the service, I am held to the requirement of participating and use of the purchased bids and risk the forfeiture of my $150. I was also offended that the SwipeBids telephone assistance manager Lindsey (contacted via telephone on 6/19/10 at 8:16 AM PST) offered me 500 additional bids, in effect a bribe of $50.

unauthorized billing
I have bid w/ swipebids but realized was a waste of my time and money.Now they are charging my credit card and the Walmart gift card that I apparently won did not materialized.
I have to ask for reimbursement and need to block them from chraging my credit card.

fraudulent charges for memberships
Swipebids you say? Yes I was scammed by swipebids.con but I refuse to think I was just stupid and overlooked the membership charge of $150.00 for the Premium Membership. I DID NOT overlook it but tried to cancel the transaction when the screen popped up at end of the registration that said to buy bids. I DID NOT WANT to buy bids so I thought I had closed this window in the normal windows fashion with the “x” in the top right corner. As it turns out that was my “x” on the line to buy the large bid pack. If anyone else has had the similar experience of a surprise charge of $150.00 and can remember what you did when you finished the swipebids registration I would like to hear from you. I was not just stupid enough to do this once but I visited that same registration page three times on my first visit to swipebids and each time that dam window popped up and each time I closed it with the “x” in the corner. I did find later three identical billings of $150.00 each to my credit card for a membership I did not want in the first place. And yes I misspelled swipebids.con because I refuse to provide a link to that scamming web site.

visited site swipebids.com and was interested in possibly bidding on items. I gave them my personal information as I have done on numerous sites. The company took 150.00 from my debit card without my permission. Nowhere on the site did I authorize them to deduct nor did they inform me (even in fine print) that I was going tobe charged 150.00 from my checking account. To me this is fraud and I plan on persuing this further once I find out how to. STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE!!!

charged fees into credit card automatically
swipe bids just automatically charged me with $150, one (1) year membershiop when I was only registering. I called them and asked for a refund and they keep on saying that its my responsibility to read their Terms. Their website is just deceptive, misleading and there is no warning at all that registering means you have to pay $150. And to get a refund, you have to play their game and wait for one month. This must STOP! Please help us in getting our money back and Stop this mudos operandi.

unauthorized debit from my credit card
I found an aution site where you buy bids then use them to win auctions for merchandise. I have registered with other company's before and I do that to get more info, before making a decision. Stupid on my part yes, but that's what I do. So with swipebids, I registered and gave debit card info and suddenly $150 was sucked out of my bank acct. I immediately contacted them thru the live chat they have setup and was informed that it was noyt going to be refunded!! Fortunately my bank has stood up 4 me, but have yet to be reimbursed. Never have I heard of this and I went online and read many cacses of swipebids.com stealing money from lots of people without permission
