non delivery/small product
did not deliver as promised, very small product (they must use magnification to take there pictures) said they could get item out faster for an additional fee which was more than the item in one case.

No products on time
I ordered christmas presents aout 5 weeks ago and said theyd be delivered by Nov 24th, 2010!!And to this date no order hasbeen here!!!My orderis 18606615!!!Can u check please!!???

My husband was given sweaters as a Christmas gift about 3 and 4 years ago. He didn't like the colors. He has never worn them and they still have the tags attached and they are still in the original packaging. The guarantee that came with the sweaters says, "If at any time you're not absolutely delighted with any item you order from us, please tell us and we will make a prompt replacement or refund the merchandise amount. Your satisfaction is absolutely guaranteed.
I called the company and was told they would not take them back. I asked to talk to a supervisor who was rude and stated they would not take them back and my definition of "if at any time" was different from hers. Their guarantee is worthless!

Ripoff Late fees and finance charges
The worst company ever! They are in the credit business, not the sweet business of candies, which actually suck, just like they do. I tried to post a payment online because I don't have hours to spend on the phone with their terrible customer service. The payment couldn't go through for a a few days, because of the zip code confusion. I corresponded with their IT and CS departments via e-mail, until we figured out what was the problem. They tried to get rid of me with their moronic suggestions but I persisted until the issue was finally solved and the payment and the payment went through. Imagine my surprise when I was hit with the late fee of $15, which appeared in my next statement not to mention finance charges. I spent hours on the phone trying to get this late charge off but to no avail. They were incredibly rude and scheming. DO NOT do business with them! Under NO circumstances. They are making their money off the steep shipping and handling fees, late fees and finance charges. I will never do any business with them! Scammers! If you need to use catalog company, use Figi instead. Way more efficient, no finance charges, no scamming.

Delivery date promise not kept
I was PROMISED a delivery date of December 15, 2009. December 15 came and went. I did all my Christmas shopping with Swiss Colony under the ""Buy Now, No Payments until Feb. 2010" agreement. Stay tuned to see if I ever receive the merchandise

Bad service
I've ordered from Swiss Colony for about 20 years using the "no finance charge" version of their choose and charge plan.

In Sept. 2008, I called their finance dept. to make sure my account was still "no finance charge" before I placed my holidays orders. Swiss Colony confirmed my account was "no finance charge" (a "M" suffix after my account #)so I placed my order (on that basis).

I received my first monthly bill in Jan.2009 - no problem - there was no finance charge added. My Feb. bill just came and it had a finance charge. When I called to get it corrected the finance dept. supervisor refused. Her reason was that Swiss Colony was no longer offering that plan (according to her that occurred in Nov. 2008 - AFTER my order was placed/accepted by them under the no finance charge plan.

I tried repeatedly to explain to her that a company can't just change the terms of a contract after the fact. If they were going to change it, they should have notified me and given me the option to cancel the order. They did not do so.

She insisted that I had to either pay off the account immediately or pay the finance charge. That to me is a breach of contract. The contract agreement I ordered under said clearly - monthly payments and no finance charge. That is what I accepted and what I budgeted for. If I wanted to pay the whole amount at once I would have done that when I ordered. I ordered from Swiss Colony, in good faith, and they (their finance dept.) is dealing with me dishonestly by changing the terms on the order 4 months after the order was accepted and shipped by them.

I'm very annoyed at the "take it or leave it" attitude of this company. Seems to me they ought to be more concerned with keeping long term good customers, but they aren't. She didn't care at all that they were losing a customer, simply saying "I'll take you off the mailing list".

Wrong order recieved
I helped my 90 year old mother fill out her order for Christmas gifts to Swiss Colony. She wanted to order three of the same items to send to two households, one of nuts and one of cheese. Instead of one order of three, we received three orders of three. My mother cannot afford to pay for such large orders and I would like to know how to either return the extras or be sure she isn't charged for triple what she ordered.
