Avoid this site
75 bids for $48. Then you pay for item if you are the last bidder. Each bid raises the price by $0.01 (a penny). Each bid therefore costs about $0.66. An item that sells for $10.00 therefore has raised about $660. iPhone 4 goes for $15-$25. That's the ripoff part.
The scam, I think, is that the last bidder is not a person, but a made up userid from Swizzie. I got my 75 bids. Bid on an iphone twice. Both times I was bidding at the time the bidding stopped and my last bid wouldn't register. And the userid of the winner was someone who hadn't been bidding until that last bid. I was watching closely the second time and know that the winning id that time was one that hadn't bid for the last 600 bids (from $15 to $21).
I suggest avoiding this site.

Membership fraud
This site is a scam. It dosent state that there is a $75 charge and skips over it on its site during registration. You never confirm any charges. I never used it and called right away and they did everything but laugh at me. They will not answer me now and will not refund! I filed a BBB complaint and thy said they would charge even more if I stopped payment on the card charge. Stay away unless you have $75 you want to lose. I am not done yet !

membership fraud
This company distracts the consumer when sign up is initiated. Once you create a userID, the focus is on a strong password. Once you develop that, the cite automatically scrolls you down to the bottom of the next page completely skipping over the fact you are being charged!!! Swizzie states in "terms & conditions" that the consumer will be offered a choice of membership packages to purchase at the sign up. However, when signing up the cite scrolls down to big bold letters asking where bids should be sent. The cite completely skips over the fact that the consumer is railroaded into a $75 NON REFUNDABLE purchase of membership. A choice of packages is not offered and it is very unclear that the consumer is purchasing a membership. This is in violation of their own terms and agreement contract. THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDLENT AND NOT THE WAY BUSINESS IN AMERICA SHOULD BE CONDUCTED!!!

Fraudlent Web Site
Website claims to auction of current goods but the bidding appears to be against a computer generated accounts.
The system will bid you up and then appear to have some issues and then will say the auction has ended even though you are still trying to bid.
Stay away unless you want to lose money.
