Charged me for technical Issues caused by Norton Antivirus activation failure
I had Norton 2009 anti V, On my PC and it expired I then bought 2010 loaded it on my PC keyed inn the key code followed the prompts and activated it, that was abt3 months ago. Now get this all this time I am under the impression I have Norton 2010 right cause it loaded and activated. So Feb 28 I get some infection ok I call the number try to tell them that there is a technical issue and has been... they tell me to get rid of these infections i would have to pay $99.00 well I felt there was no way around this no matter what I tried to explain so I paid. Ok now I have a tech he asks me what version I have and I tell him 2010 ok he says nothing to me and he cleans the PC and tells me I have 7 days in case something fails. Well I ended up, calling back because something wasn't right my PC was still running crapy... So then another guy gets on my PC remotely and deleted my temp files and checked this an that and came up with nothing and this person was told I had 2010 also. Ok today I was having problem with certain minor issues and the tech takes control once again.. I explain what the problems are and he asked me what version I had I told him 2010 he said no you don’t you are running 2009... I said hold up that expired how can that be???? Turns out they did not upgrade my PC when I sent in the activation key so let me ask you whose fault is this????? I say it's a malfunction on Norton’s part 2 technicians who failed to notice this and one did cause he took the time too. he upgraded my anti v, and now i finally have 2010. I want a refund of $99.00 based on the fact it was a technical issue due to there incompetence that’s why I got the infections and I should not have to pay for something that was not my doing.
