I travel nation wide for my job, so when I was looking for a broadband stick for my lap top I ask a lot of questions. The sales person told me the stick worked where ever the phone worked ( I had a T mobile phone). I asked several times about this because I had problems in the past.
I was repeatedly told the same thing and that if there was a problem I could return it within 14 days. I told them that was a problem because I was on the road for 4-6 weeks at a time. I was again told it would work. I went on the road and had problems., no service. called tech line for help they told me that it did not work where ever I had phone service. They said it only worked on T mobile towers. I then found that they have very few towers of there own. I did find service a week or so out. The next day I was on a t mobile tower with full bars, but no service. Called tech line found out not all of there towers are set up for data. I come to the conclusion that it was worthless to me . I talked to customer service. I told them what I was told and they said they would note my account to cancel contract just turn in the stick. I explained that I was on the road and would not be back for several weeks. No problem they would note my account.
I returned to Global Wireless first thing I ask was where the broadband worked, they were still giving out bad info. I corrected the sales person and said that I was returning it. They told me I could not. I then told them of my conversation with T mobile and the manger told me there was no such notes on my account. I called t mobile customer service and was told the notes were there, but it was up to the local store manager to end the contract. I handed my phone to the manager after he again lied to me and said there was no notes. As the T mobile customer service rep was telling him about the notes and situation he hung up on them. He refused to do the honorable thing, after his people told me total BS. T mobile refused to do the right thing and back its customer over an independent store manager. My phone was not under contract and is now with another company! I would of been with them for years if they would of treated me right, but instead they lost a loyal customer. Makes me mad that I actually referred people to them, but not again!!
